If he was being honest, he didn't know why he was so calm. He had excepted himself to freak out over the fact that he had died and he was now a animal. Perhaps, he was more mature or something like that. He didn't understand any of the physics of being an animal. He didn't like that he couldn't grab things as easily as he could when he had hands, plus walking on three legs was strange, as he often struggled to walk properly and he fell. A lot.

He had expected Bakugou to burst into laughter after he had told him about the boulder and the unicorn and to tell him to get a hold of himself. Bakugou wasn't the nicest person in the world, nor did he have the best personality. But, neither of those mattered, he considered the ragdoll as one of his closest friends, alongside Kaminari, Sero and Mina. Another thing he missed, was having the company of all four of his close friends. "I don't know, honestly. I don't think I can trust anyone- aside from you and Tokoyami- there." He would admit, shuffling his paws in awkwardness.

Cold and unmoved, glinting dangerously like the reflective stare of a snake. Bakugou's lips are pressed together when he listens to Kirishima's reply. One can see the way his lower lid twitches, as is his face is about to morph into one of great distaste. "Suit your fuckin' self then," he snaps bitterly. Despite the annoyance which rings through his cutting voice, his face hasn't wrinkled into one of anger. He looks only disappointed, which to many is worse than seeing the ones they care about overwhelmed by anger or sadness. Disappointment was to say there were expectations, suggesting that the person had failed despite the faith placed upon them. He doesn't want to look upset and for a moment, his usual enjoyment of his solitude has vanished just a little. Naturally, Bakugou is an independent creature with endeavors which ascended beyond the company of others. He appreciates Kirishima but he's always told himself he would be fine without him. To continue to say such a thing to himself, as he's come to realise now, would be such a lie. "We'll just live our separate ways." The words are reluctant, delicately laced with a subtle sense of loneliness.

Kirishima found himself staring into Bakugou's sanguine-colored eyes, a small frown on his maw as he studied the other male's facial expressions. Almost like a snake's. Cold and showing no clear emotions. He had grown used to seeing an angry look on the other's face, as he was always angry with the rest of their class and their teachers. But, now he seemed to be a little more calm. Kirishima isn't a naturally independent creature. He found that his Quirk had worked the best when he was with others. He could protect them from attacks from villains and falling debris.

A somewhat pained-look grew on the maned-wolf's face as he listened to Bakugou's words. He didn't sound angered that he might not join the Typhoon. Just lonely and hollow and bitter. There was a lot of salt in the other's wounds and he hated to make things worse, but he couldn't bring himself to possibly trust those in the Typhoon, aside from Tokoyami and Bakugou. "Er- I'll think about it, if that makes you happy?"
