Angelembrace was certainly an... interesting figure, in Arvid's eyes. The other's strong dislike of Aphra was very much understandable, even with their family ties, but it still occasionally caught Arvid off guard. After all, he got along very well with Saturn, but Saturn was his adoptive parent... perhaps it was different when you were bitter about your biological parent mistreating you. He certainly felt pretty bitter about his own biological parents not doing more to protect him, and he hadn't even really met them. By comparison, Angel was around his uncaring parent each and every day. So, he did have some reason to be angry. And honestly, the dire wolf internally applauded him for it. While he didn't agree with Angel on every little thing – his opinion on the whole mess with the statues hadn't changed – he respected the other as a fellow wanderer. And hell, maybe even... a friend? That was a little premature, though, at least in his eyes. He had never really formed bonds of friendship before, so... he wasn't quite sure what the whole process entailed.
He had learned through observing others that shared interests were generally a good starting point to a friendship, which was certainly lucky for him. After all, he had a strong interest in science, and it just so happened that Angel seemed to have one as well – albeit, in different fields. Figuring that science would be the perfect way to form a connection between them, the canine had gathered up a few of the books he had on various scientific subjects, studfing them all in a bag. He then slipped that bag on over his neck and shoulder, heading over to Angel's home at a brisk pace. He hesitated momentarily before raising a paw to knock at the door, calling out softly, "Hello? Angelembrace? Are you home? I thought maybe I could share some of my books with you." In the back of his mind, Arvid found himself wondering what fields the other was most interested in. Geology? Astronomy? Maybe just general physics? Many possibilities ran through his head, but he knew he wouldn't be able to know for sure without just asking.
