The moors are many things, but they are nothing if not quiet and secluded. Icarus had enjoyed the clearness they'd brought to his mind upon joining, out here where the air is crisp and fiercely windy — now they're his moors. Being in charge is... strange, to say the least, but who would he have been to refuse when the Knights were entrusted to his care? He's only ever had himself to look out for, which makes an entire clan a large undertaking by comparison; at least they're small and tight-knit. Icarus has few worries, surprisingly (or perhaps not, considering he's always been the laidback sort, maybe too much so for his own good), but his to-do list is much longer than his concerns. The first item on his agenda is a series of visits he's been long meaning to make, in part to fulfill his own selfish curiosities as a longtime traveler. Not that it matters — it'll have to get done one way or another.
The tom stands in the foyer, straightening as he gives the call, "Knights! I'm organizing some patrols to get acquainted with our neighbors." He pauses, nudging forth a few baskets that had been organized neatly at his side. They have the standard contents, including a few spare copies of novels he'd dusted off from the library, some herbs native to the hills, and even a couple of daggers. "I have a few gift baskets — for now we're just looking to introduce ourselves and let them know the Knights are around. I'll be heading to Elysium myself, so if anyone wants to tag along or visit the other groups feel free." The decision for him to lead the patrol to Elysium was more of a random one than anything else — a flip of a coin, a roll of a dice — but he's heard that their morals are at least somewhat aligned with the Knights', so he thinks it a decent enough place to start. Icarus knows exceedingly little of these lands and the clans they house, but he knows that the Knights need allies, and he also knows that diplomacy is a precarious tightrope walk to tread. At present he's most concerned with establishing themselves and gathering intel; the rest will follow after he's had a chance to build up some relationships and, with any luck, a reputation. The golden tabby stands now, anticipating that his Knights will gather and prepare to head out.
