at first, amelie began wandering, just anywhere really. as if the opportunity to begin anew was going to just drop from the trees that amelie walked underneath. the woman kind of wished that it would. amelie didn't like feeling so lost in this world, she didn't like to be this vulnerable and weak. she just wanted something to do or she might just go crazy. but most communities took distaste to the way amelie looked and shunned her away. there was no other skill that the woman had in her arsenal with the means to provide for herself. amelie began to find herself cyclically going through groups to join and subsequently being turned away. through word of mouth or purely on appearances alone. the next stop: the rosebloods. a group amelie admittedly didn't know much about.
arriving on the border, amelie idly let her helmet switch on to survey the lands around the group's edge. she tried to give herself a clue into where the group's members were located with the enhanced sense the helmet gave her. no luck; they were too far away. that was alright, amelie was a patient person - she would just wait for someone to arrive.
