c'est la vie ⟶ joining - amelie - 06-01-2019 [align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]a woman without a mission, a life without purpose. yeah, amelie was feeling pretty crappy about herself as of late. the woman had been counting down the days that she would be "free" like it was her birthday. no longer an asset to be bought amelie would be able to do whatever she wanted with her life. yet when the moment arrived and amelie had sworn her past to the past somehow... nothing felt better. it felt worse. the woman had focused so much on getting the bad connotations of her job detached from herself that she had failed to look to the future. what was amelie's future? she had no family, no friends and she had personally taken care of the one individual kind enough to actually care for her. it wasn't like there was any chance of the widow beginning a family of her own anymore. something that amelie had fantasied about ever since she had first met her husband. ouch, that stung. at first, amelie began wandering, just anywhere really. as if the opportunity to begin anew was going to just drop from the trees that amelie walked underneath. the woman kind of wished that it would. amelie didn't like feeling so lost in this world, she didn't like to be this vulnerable and weak. she just wanted something to do or she might just go crazy. but most communities took distaste to the way amelie looked and shunned her away. there was no other skill that the woman had in her arsenal with the means to provide for herself. amelie began to find herself cyclically going through groups to join and subsequently being turned away. through word of mouth or purely on appearances alone. the next stop: the rosebloods. a group amelie admittedly didn't know much about. arriving on the border, amelie idly let her helmet switch on to survey the lands around the group's edge. she tried to give herself a clue into where the group's members were located with the enhanced sense the helmet gave her. no luck; they were too far away. that was alright, amelie was a patient person - she would just wait for someone to arrive. Kliment hadn't been created with much of a purpose, the humans had been curious about animal hybridzation and mutation they succeeded in getting a few operating hybrids only to put them through a few trials. Kliment had been far too young to understand any of it but one thing he was certain of was his immense hatred towards the human beings yet had obtained a form of fear towards them as well, just the thought of them made him growl with uneasiness. The massive brute was still an animal and he wasn't the safest caged animal either, whenever he felt cornered or threatened would they lunge to defend themselves. The tyrant had already gotten used to his new title, throne, and land wondering what he would do about this putrid territory despite part being reptilian, the semi-feral brute didn't appreciate the sun beating down on his black fur and generally dark form. Eventually a new smell caught his attention, both ears that once lay upon his back would rise to pick up the sound of pawsteps. This one only threaded quite a ways before stopping. Waiting. Well, it was admittedly better than having someone completely wander around the territory itself was what he thought with a loud irritated snort. Joiners were overall a good thing especially since the whole place had been almost dead, Kliment moved forward with a lash of his heavy tail soon being able to make out the aura of a Savannah cat did he stop in front of her soon lowering his cranium so he wasn't far from her own form. His snout scrunched up and his lips peeled back showing off his teeth only to utter with a heavy accent. "NAME AND STATE YOUR BUSINESS." [glow=COLOR,1,400]♛[/glow] |
