Immortal hummed as he had trotted into his room, looking for anything to help with his task. Of course, he'd called the closest room he could to the stairs because he was not about to walk all that way to one further in. It was almost fun being assigned something to do, especially that would help the place out in the long run. Besides, he'd been getting pretty tempted to decorate the walls somehow, anything to make the place more colorful and not so abandoned-looking. Sweeping through the small area, he really didn't find much other than an old bottle of red paint and pieces of scrapbook paper. It wasn't half-bad and he could definitely work with it. If anything, he was sure there was more paint somewhere in the building. He'd want to find it sooner or later anyway, for himself. Laying all the papers out, he popped the bottle's lid off with his teeth (grimacing when he got paint in his mouth) and squeezed what he could on the ground. He needed all the papers and didn't mind making a mess of his own floor. He dipped his paw in and started. Over the next several minutes, he quickly painted arrows on nearly every piece of paper, doing his best to fill the whole page so it could really be seen. He saved some for the signs, but he was sure they'd end up needing to look for more. Stepping away from his work, he shrugged, wiped his paw on some cloth and grabbed up the arrow-pages in his mouth (careful not to spit all over them). Out in the halls, he would set them down at the hall and yell up the stairs. "HEY! If anyone's not busy, mind, uh, helpin' me!?" he called. Hopefully it was enough to grab the attention of anyone in the halls behind him, too. "Almost done with the signs, might need more colors. Too much red."

Unfortunately, HD had caught Bastille's attention. Look: he liked the guy. HD was chill and laid-backed and seemed like he'd be fun at parties. He had a sense of nonchalance that Bast could appreciate, and he wouldn't mind actually befriending the Observer. But holy fuck, was the shouting loud, and his temple seemed to throb in tandem with each word. He was dying. He was definitely dying.

Bast showed up in front of the Observer a few seconds later, seemingly flickering into sight out of no where. In fact, he had -- but Bast didn't even realize his invisibility had kicked in. (He'd always had impeccable control over his powers, thanks to Grimm. It didn't even occur to him that one might possibly act up.) The Fireball was scowling, ice blue gaze a little too cold as he eyed HD, his fur pulsing briefly with a quick, faint black glow. There was a moment before he took a breath and forced himself not to snap. It was not anyone else's fault that his head was trying to kill him. Be cool, damnit.

"Yeah, okay," he huffed, shaking his head slightly as if to shake off the irritation itching under his pelt. Be cool. Be cool. His head ached more with the shake, so he stopped. "What're we doing with those?" He nodded towards the signs, vaguely intrigued.
Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door.   [sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup]
