REDVOX "VINNY" ABRAMO - cis male - goat-bat hybrid - harbinger
The third day of the festival, and this event had sort of been a hard one to set up. After all, how were you supposed to celebrate a goddess of justice and rights? Thankfully, their Elysite visitors had served to give him an idea of exactly how to do so. Naya was the under light goddess of justice and rights, and was known for being a particularly ruthless goddess, who did not particularly take well to those that did others wrong. She was one of the more intimidating gods, with her usual form of a large bear, and her penchant for picking champions to achieve her will. It was even worse when she went to shame a group for committing atrocities, because usually this "shaming" led to at least a couple of the offenders dying. There had been quite a big of debate over whether or not she should be a light god at one point, but Vin was firmly in the corner of thinking that she was one. After all, she only ever punished those that had done others extremely wrong, and what about that would make her one of the dark gods? Then again, however, Vin didn't necessarily think the dark gods were all bad guys, either.
Anyways, barring all that debate, Vin had come up with a perfect little event to celebrate Naya's judgemental nature. He had set up a sort of courtroom, similar to the kind that Elysium used in their trials. It was definitely simplified, but it was good enough for him, and he was fairly sure it would be good enough for Elysium and The Pitt... or at least he desperately hoped that it would be. There was a wide cleared out patch of ground for the jury, a spot for the judge, and a spot for a witness, as well as a cleared out spot for the accused. Once all of that had been cleared of snow and any other hazards, Vin once again went through the process of dragging a shrine out, this time the shrine of Naya. The shrine held the carving of a brown bear with a set of balances in her mouth, and even that was enough to make Vin shiver a little. Once he had pushed the statue beside the "judge's space," Vox spoke up, smiling tiredly, "Everybody 'ere for the festival, gather 'round! This particular event is sort of dedicated to our Elysite visitors! Th'goddess we're celebratin' today is an undergoddess of light who presides over justice and rights, Naya. In honor of 'er, and inspired by our visitors, we'll be 'oldin' a little mock trial!" Hopefully this would go well, and the jury could pick out whether the selected "criminal" was innocent or guilty.
