AURUM
DO NO HARM BUT TAKE NO SHIT !

There's a Crowley, on his deck. He knows it's Crowley, knows the other as well as he knows himself at this point, and also knows that he looks absolutely wrecked. He still looked like he was recovering from the ages long nap he had taken, and judging by the vaguely annoyed air the male had around him, Aurum is fairly sure that he hadn't known the lion had moved houses until he showed up to an empty little shack. Aurum wasn't sure exactly what he expected when he heard noise on the porch of his new home and looked out the window, but it certainly wasn't this. He expected Crowley to ignore him or completely forget his existence after waking up, and yet here the other was. On his deck. Looking like that. It was enough to make him almost pitiful, if Aurum didn't know that the demon probably would've despised hearing he was being pitied – which was funny, since Crowley seemed to covertly adore the attention given to him under duress, but claimed to hate things like pity. Either way, Aurum found himself caught between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, he was overjoyed to see the other male, having been missing and pining after him for months now. On the other hand, he was also sort of pissed at the other for ghosting him and vanishing off of the face of the Earth to take a long nap. Or at least, he was supposed to be pissed at Crowley for that. The lion actually found it terribly, unfairly, and horrifyingly hard to be pissed off at Crowley in any capacity, just because he was so fucking happy to have the other around again.
Sighing heavily, Aurum hesitated at the window for another moment, his eyes focused down at the peeling paint of the pane rather than on Crowley's slumped figure. His heart was roaring in his ears, and ultimately he knew what he was going to do, but found himself hesitant to do it. Finally he released the breath he had been holding in, a soft hiss of resistance between his teeth before he finally stepped away from the windowsill, heading for the nearby door. He was fairly sure that Roy was home at the moment, and possibly Poet as well, but they rarely interrupted when he had people over – if that's even why Crowley was here, really. Aurum stared longingly up at the door in front of him for a moment before he gripped the handle tightly, twisting and pulling to open the door wide. For a moment he was scared – petrified, even – that this was all just some big dream, and Crowley was really still gone, locked away from everyone, and Aurum opening his front door would make him wake up. But no, instead he was just left face to face with a very tired looking Crowley, the demon's eyes flicking up when the door opened before shooting away guiltily. Aurum instantly wanted to reach out a tender paw and place it beneath Crowley's chin, just to gently reassure the other that things were alright between the two of them, but truthfully... he didn't know if they were alright, at least not yet.
So, instead of potentially making an already awkward moment even more awkward, Aurum forced his fur to settle, and his heart to stop thundering excitedly in his chest. It was his damn feelings for Crowley that had gotten him into this mess in the first place. He couldn't make things even worse than they had been before. He tried not to sound too strained when he finally spoke, his voice slightly hoarse from the nap he had taken earlier, his side pressed up against the doorframe to keep himself upright, "Crowley... you look like hell. Er, no pun intended." A weak dry laugh left the proxy at that, the briefest flash of his usual warmth entering his one blue eye before he continued, "You... are you alright? Do you wanna come in?'" Aurum had so many more things that he wanted to ask, and so many more things that he wanted to say, but he bit his tongue, not wanting to interrupt this small moment of peace between the two of them. He wanted so badly to be closer to Crowley – to touch him, and cuddle him, and kiss him – but he held himself back, not wanting to send the other bolting.
