i was born, on the highway, in a train wreck
with a heart, that was beating, out of my chest
After what had happened at the border with Moth and Selby's confessing to each other while stop his back, Aurum had thought several times about going to see his sister and speaking to her about it. Not specifically only that event, but it had been a pretty damn big instigating event, to say the least. Sure, the Captain had noticed the looks that the two of them exchanged, and had certainly seen the beginnings of puppy love happening between the two of them, but to be there when they both admitted their romantic feelings to each other? Well, not only had it been pretty damn funny, but heartwarming as well. Now, all Aurum could hope was that Selby would treat his sister well. He was fairly sure that the Sawbone would, considering he had a great deal of respect for the smaller feline and had never seen Selby as someone to do something as cruel as hurt somebody he loved, but... Aurum had a tendency to be a bit paranoid when it came to love and everything like that, ever since his past with Draekon and even things that had happened before it. Needless to say, while Moth being in love was a happy event, it was also an incredibly anxiety inducing one for the male. Although, he supposed that he couldn't really say that he had completely given up on love, and he was certainly a bit of a hypocrite, considering his recent freak out when Crowley had been injured. He was still trying to tell himself that had just been a result of him being emotional, and that he wouldn't go so far as to say that he was in love with Crowley, but... he had his doubts and he was sure Moth probably did too.
Still, putting all of this aside, Aurum was just sort of happy to have a nice quiet moment with his sister again. Whether it be injuries, the Pitt raid, love confessions, his recent promotion, or the renovations that had been eating up his time lately, they hadn't exactly had a lot of one on one sibling bonding time. It was almost sort of silly to put it that way, considering that they hadn't been siblings from birth and had probably lost a lot of sibling bonding time, but... Aurum certainly cared for her like a sister, and she had been more like family to him than certain actual biological family had been. So, taking a deep breath and letting himself relax, the lion had trekked over from his house over to Moth's, settling into a sitting position before he let his paw knock up against the door, his words leaving him in a lazy rumble, "Moth? You in there? I was wondering if we could hang out for a bit." It was entirely possible that she wouldn't be there, off collecting herbs or other things, or perhaps hanging out with Selby, but he could only hope he had come at a good enough time that he'd catch her before she had gone anywhere.
