―――― //For the sake of avoiding flooding, this party is split up into two threads! This thread here is the 'main' gathering hub in the Observatory, where there's food, drinks, dancing, and conversation.
THIS thread is out in the territory in the middle of camp, where people can decorate ornaments to take home, or to hang on the Ascendant's Winter/Christmas Tree as a symbol of the wider community that makes up their allies/neutrals and the holiday season c:
The Observatory had been decorated for the occasion. There was a light snowfall outside, but there was a warm fireplace going within their observatory, with tinsel, twinkling lights, and other decoration lining the walls. Yet, while the decorations were a sight to be had, nothing compared to the food. After all, food was the main focus of any party, was it not? Two long tables lined the walls in the observatory. One of them contained large crock-pot like vats of hot chocolate and ladels, with sturdy mugs on the side. The rest of the table was line with marshmallows, chocolate, and chocolate-related spoons and additions to the cocoa, sprinkles, whip cream and just about anything else you could think to add to hot chocolate - even including some alcohol at the end of the bar, and a few regular juice, water, and drinks. The other table was filled with cooked turkey and meats, cookies, sweets, and even a nice looking salad. Bread rolls, too, were present, in addition to various other food items. Part of the observatory floor had been cleared as a means of dancing, and both a music system and a karaoke system sat in the corner, waiting patiently. Among the crowd, Atticus stood, with a santa-hat upon his head (no doubt enforced by Keyne), sipping from a mug of cocoa.
