Most presumed that Margaery sang for fun. She had a good voice, that much was true, but very rarely did her lips ever part in song unless something was troubling her. Gardening was nice - and oh, how it helped to alleviate her stress - and hunting assisted her in varying degrees, but there was something else about singing that lightened the load her very soul seemed to bear, permitting her to transcend for a few brief moments and simply become the music. There was no worry, no pain, simply raw and unfiltered emotion, and goodness gracious did that help her. She was aware of how cheesy that all sounded, but she didn't care. Her personal health and happiness far outweighed any opinions her clanmates might hold pertaining to her. And besides, she was a thousand years old- why let others dictate how she handled herself? Her issues?
[color=#b09090]"I wasn't jealous before we met
Now every man that I see is a potential threat
And I'm possessive, it isn't nice
You've heard me saying that smoking was my only vice
But now it isn't true
Now everything is new
And all I've learned has overturned
I beg of you."
Ah yes, this song was one of her favorites- a classic tune far under-appreciated. She giggled, a genuine laugh that left her feeling light and airy as she twirled easily on a heel, oblivious to any audience she might have garnered. Margaery liked the attention anyways- why stop when she was enjoying herself? [color=#b09090]"Don't go wasting your emotion," The Cosmic General continued, finding herself wishing that Suite were here with her ukulele, [color=#b09090]"Lay all your love on me."
Speaking of Suiteheart, it only made sense that her song was about her, sang proudly, happily, because they had survived... And that was all they really needed to be happy, wasn't it? From the very beginning, the odds had been stacked against them, fate itself out to rip them apart every opportunity it got. It made no sense to mope about the tragedy that had befallen them in the past- instead, Margaery had decided to rejoice in the knowledge that her wife was still very much at her side, scarred but intact. Besides, she had stopped caring about the scar, no longer permitting guilt and shame to bog her down every time her gaze fell upon it. It wasn't her fault.
It had never been her fault.
[color=#b09090]"It was like shooting a sitting duck
A little small talk, a smile, and baby, I was stuck
I still don't know what you've done with me
A grown-up woman should never fall so easily."
Oh but she had fallen so easily for Suiteheart- ten times to be exact. Soulmates... They were soulmates, there was no denying it.
[color=#b09090]"Don't go wasting your emotion
Lay all your love on me
Don't go sharing your devotion
Lay all your love on me."
(margy? happy and soft about her wife? it's more likely than you think)
