LIKE THE MOON SAYS TO THE DARK — Truth be told, Goldenluxury had the uncanny ability to scare the shit out of one Michael Townley. That wasn't to say that Michael wasn't scared by anything else – he could actually be quite cowardly in some situations – but for the most part, he knew how to keep a level head. With Goldie, however? Not only was the injured captain the boss of them all, but she was also big and powerful in terms of size, and in terms of the powers that she held. At the moment she wasn't quite as intimidating, given her current injuries, but the fugitive had no doubt that she could still rip him to shreds. Despite this, it felt... wrong not to go and talk to her. After all, he could remember his own time being injured, and how awful it had been trying to deal with his concussion in the aftershocks of the meteor strike. He had only really survived that time because he had Trevor and Roxie by his side, to care about and help him. While he had no doubts that Sam and her children were probably keeping Goldie occupied plenty of the time, he figured it couldn't hurt to just go and pop in, at least for a little bit.
So, the bobcat had headed to Goldie's home, where he knew she had been ordered to bedrest by Roan after he deemed it was safe for her to leave the temple. He hesitated for a long moment before eventually knocking a dark paw against the door, the clink of his engagement ring against the door nearly startling him. As he set his leg back down, he called in a firm but quiet voice, "Goldie? Can I come in? I thought you might like some company..." After he was given a response, he would push the door open gently, pulling it closed behind him before he continued, "I know I might not be one of the first people you've been dying to see, but... I remember how boring it was when I was hurt, so I thought you might appreciate a distraction. How are things going?" The reaver then tilted his head to one side, genuine curiosity in his tone. It sort of sucked to think about, knowing that Goldie had only been able to enjoy her new marriage for a brief period before Caesar came along and fucked it all up. He could only hope that his own wedding wouldn't be flanked by such misfortune. — WE WILL NEVER BE APART
