What the hell was up with him? Missing stealing a jewel, nearly twice, and disappearing. Did his search for Pandora really make him so delirious he forgot how to be himself? He is hold a jewel up, in his suit, and hisses about it "not being the right one." "Looks like I'll have to return this," the Phantom Thief says, putting it in his bag. Luckily, no one was around to see him.

He goes to the border nonchalantly and sighing, blue eyes seeming tired. "Hey! It's me, Kuroba Kaito! Can I return?"

Huh. Well, it seemed as though quite a few people were returning to Tanglwwood at once, weren't they? That wasn't to say Aurum was complaining, of course. He loved seeing old and new faces at the border, and while he hadn't had as much of a personal relationship with Kaito as he did with Vathmos, that didn't mean he wasn't glad to see the little guy, strange as he was. Upon hearing Kaito's voice nearby, Aurum ambled his way over, the proxy offering Kaito a welcoming smile before he rumbled, "Hey, Kaito. Welcome back, of course you're free to return... where've you been? We missed you." They hadn't really had much of a chance to get to know Kaito too well around Tanglewood yet, but that didn't mean he hadn't been missed after he had gone missing.

Kaito's face appears blank. He stares at the lion, his eyes dull, not shinibg like the sun on a sea - just.... he was there. And then he smiles slightly; though it's very well faked.

He shakes his fur out, stepping over the border. The thief doesn't talk at first, getting a few steps in. Then he turns his head towards the rumbling lion.  "I had some business concerning my father to attend to. Nice to see you again. Did you need anything else?"

There. His answer wasn't a total lie. Just vague. He couldn'ttell anyone that he was a wantes criminal for stealing priceless gems to findone that caused immortality because his father died, now could he?
