Blinking over at Ubbe, Worm shook his head and mumbled softly as he closed his eyes, just enjoying the warm feeling of the hot sand beneath his chin, [glow=#793B29,1,400]"It's not stupid. No fears are stupid, really, there's always reasoning behind fears, even if you feel like it's not good enough. I have plenty of fears that may seem irrational to others but is because of... bad experiences I've had in the past."[/glow] He sighed a bit at this, as if remembering something from the aforementioned past that made his heart ache, which wasn't too far from the realm of reality. The large lion never liked looking back, considering his life before Tanglewood hadn't exactly been the most happy of times.

When he heard Moth, he blinked his eyes back open again and smiled a bit crookedly at her. He rumbled softly in his tired but happy tone that he had acquired since he had begun splashing around in the water and allowing himself to relax, [glow=#793B29,1,400]"It's good to meet you too, miss Moth. That's a very pretty and unique name. Well... for someone that isn't a moth, that is."[/glow] Despite the caution that he had shown when he had first joined the group just a bit ago, he was beginning to feel more and more comfortably around the residents of Tanglewood. He was trying to be cautious with how he interacted with them, since he being a rather huge lion made a lot of people back off from meeting him.

Ubbe tilted his head, listening as the other spoke. He flattened his ears when he heard the other sigh. Ah great. Now Wormwood was upset. Ubbe lowered his head a bit as he shifted, laying down on the sand. "I'm sorry, Wormwood. I didn't mean to make you remember any unpleasant memories." Ubbe murmured softly. He then shifted his gaze over to Moth, listening as she and Worm talked.

Hearing the concern in Ubbe's voice, Wormwood snorted and shook his head, mumbling softly as he stretched a leg out behind him, stretching out his toes so that the mud between them was whisked away, [glow=#793B29,1,400]"Don't worry Ubbe, I'm just fine. My memories may be unpleasant, but now I've found a much nicer home here in Tanglewood, so I dont focus on things like that very long."[/glow] Over the last few days, he had wondered if he really deserved a nice new home with nice new people in it. He had been taught not to want things since he had been just a cub, but he found himself wanting to stay here, and be happy.
