ATBASH CIPHER
somebody make me alive,
and shatter me !
and shatter me !
There was a sinking feeling in Atbash's stomach as she moved throughout the Observatory, looking for an empty room to place all of her things. She didn't have much, since the flames had burned most of her items that she left in her cabin, but still. This was a time to start over, again. I don't want to start over. Things had been nice in Snowbound, even if the tribe was small. Atbash was proud of the quiet little place and felt absolutely horrible that they had to escape rather than fight the flames. But there had been so many; they couldn't fight the flames if they wanted to.
The room she choose only had a bed, a mirror, and a nightstand with a lamp on it. Atbash frowned at the nightstand for a few heartbeats before she owned the single drawer it had and took her necklaces off, placing them inside. The Ascendants had once been known for having their own pendants, though Atbash wasn't sure if they still did that tradition. If they did, she would have to talk to somebody about getting her own. You're not Snowbound's leader anymore. The savannah told herself. These titles don't exist anymore. Still, the she-cat wanted to remember her time in Snowbound and wanted to keep her little necklace.
Sighing, Atbash closed the drawer and went to the bed that was there already in the room and plopped herself onto it, staring at the ceiling. It was daylight outside, so she couldn't look at the stars that shone. That was the only thing good about this place; they honored the stars and at night, the observatory opened to show the mass of stars that shone in the sky. Once again the former leader let out a sigh, closing her eyes. Snowbound was much better than this, The tribe had been like her Home Dimension, The Ascendants was not.
