All seemed peaceful about him, but inside did his mind wage a war. All Levi ever knew was to kill and control, nothing more, and nothing less. That was not him, but someone he had been manipulated into believing he was. His entire childhood, wasted. He was a waste. A child a mother refused to love, a child a father refused to even acknowledge. Levi was believed to be doomed at birth, never to be what he was made for. Left to die, to wither away. He clenched his jaws, pain searing through his muscles at the pressure. His eyes dropped to a sudden figure that stood before him. It was someone he did not know, one who did not belong here. A feral. "Leave, now." His voice was stern yet quiet. He was in no mood for this.
The feral simply stared at him, teeth bared in a threatening manner. Levi had yet to see a normal looking wolf in these parts. While the wolf had size in its advantage, Levi had more experience. Even so, Levi had no desire to fight. The feral wolf charged, viewing Levi as the owner of this territory, a territory the wolf wanted. "Idiot." Feral animals always pissed him off. Before the wolf could advance any further, Levi rushed forward, proving to be much faster than he appeared. He used the sand to glide his body to the right, dodging the wolf's uncoordinated attack. Lunging forward, the dog sunk his teeth into the side of the wolf's neck, blood suddenly filling his mouth. Blood. He had grown use to the disgusting taste. Before the wolf could turn to bite at him, Levi summoned all his strength and almost threw the wolf up and over him, but he forgot his injuries were still not healed.
Pain shot through him, his body abruptly giving out. He managed to hold on long enough to slam the larger canine into the ground, stunning it. Gathering himself, Levi pressed a paw down on the downed wolf's neck, pushing down as hard as he could to block off the oxygen intake and outtake. "Bastard, who do you think you are?" The wolf began to flail, eyes going pale from the lack of oxygen. Levi bared his teeth, snarling in the wolf's ear. "Get the hell out, scum." He drew back, releasing his hold. The wolf coughed and sputtered, flailing about like a fish as it sucked in air. Managing to find its feet, the wolf took off as fast as it could, racing out of the territory and out of Levi's sight. He had never spared the life of an assailant before.
