VIctious creatures were never meant to be controlled, and the two raptor packs were a reminder to the residents of typhoon. Caesar was in this case a juxtapoise in it, he demaned control and revealed weakness in return- where the raptor's of both packs followed their insticts and showed only strength. TO the typhoon the venandi pack was seen as a part of them because they were reaised here. Part of the newer generation of pirates and- to the controlling, a weapon to be pointed towards their enemies. ALready at seven moons old they stood to the size of a domestic cat, ready to chalange some of their smaller crewmates. THe fethered group were starting to amek their way into the world- make their presence known. But the other pack- the competition as they were silently labled by ament till had to proove their usefulness. Why would they need another pack of bearly controlled animal's when they already had the trio- the true pack?
Ament did not feel pride or betterment for the other pack, only curiosity. it is what kept him away and kept him close. Kept him from hurting them or challenging them outright in a vicious brawl that would surely mean the younger brother's death. Where his sisters were content in leaving them be and silently stewing in spite, ament was all action. If he were limited by his own anger to the bigger group- he would not hesitate to attempt to take one down. If he didn't have curiosity- he would be no more savage but much more the savage that Caesar seemed to be implying that the older pack already was.
Already two chattering raptor's was not the cause for ament' interest at first, but it was the reason why he stayed. VIrgo was content to leave them be- but here there were even more than just the one beta. Another raptor stood alongside Owen, and the first thing ament saw was the gash. Red and blistering, the would looked infected, and the smaller raptor knew it for what it was; a weakness, a reason. The other merged gracefully with the pair as if she belonged with them- and the familiar babble of acknowledgment spoke of return. Although ament could not process it and understand the grasps fully- he saw the pack f their's growing and the thread of the group rising.
Agitation was easy- and it smothered his curiosity and he let out an agitated purr. Dark plumage emerging from behind the stalk's of the god king's leg of his mother- he stood proud and poised, for now he was just content in giving his displeasure, but for how long would his inaction remain so? Until they prooved to be an actual threat- for sure. Ament was not a coward, and he would not be swayed by meerly size and age- he was reckless- stupid in that. But they were stupid as well, in their alpha- in their trust in him. The followed something smaller, something weaker, something docile. Until they choose to detach from his grsp they would remain weak, and remain less of a threat. At least- in their weakness he can find a comfort. Purr ebing into curiosity, the rumble from him silencing as his crest rose slightly, cocking his head to the side.
For now, he was fine with watching. Later- it would remain to be seen.
