They arrived on silent wings, muffled by soft feathers and scarcely a whisper in the night sky. The sea had been no issue for them, for both of their bodies gave them the means of travel that extended beyond the need for land. The word filled them with distaste, but it was unknown, features blank not only due to their lack of many 'emotional' features to begin with. The owl face helped with creeping people out, but also in making sure that no one knew what South was thinking. Useful, when your entire life was centered around lying to get by.
They landed just as softly, the two pendants around their neck clacking together being the only sound they made. The bell was ignored for now as the owl picked at one of the necklaces, carefully taking it off and then hanging it on one of the crags in the gate.
