He had decided.
Cory had taken a lot of time to contemplate his purpose. He wondered many things about not only himself, but life all around him. For months, he questioned if this would forever be his home. He questioned if staying here with all these people was the right thing to do. He questioned his sanity. There we’re so many questions and not enough time to answer them for himself. So, no longer wishing to hinder himself, the feline sat down and forced a decision upon himself.
He would be here forever.
Knowing of the rite of passage into Tanglewood, he decided to participate in the ritual. He had called forward the mask wearers to meet him in the graveyard at night. Sure enough, as the sun fell and darkness loomed over his head, he was ready. Glancing around at anyone who was participating, a sly grin would cross his maw.
“Go!” he shouted, darting away from his spot as to not be “it”, claws hitting the ground fiercely.
