Thankfully, it wasn't too hard to seek the officer out, considering how busy the both of them usually were. They both had schedules and duties that they needed to attend to, so Michael pretty much knew where to find her, and when. It was because of this that the bobcat found himself perched outside the tavern, half hidden in the shadows as he waited for the polar bear to pass by. Even if he was going to ask for some pretty serious advice, he figured it wouldn't be too bad to have a bit of fun. Hopefully his bit of fun wouldn't end with him getting mauled and torn to shreds, though.
The thief laid in wait until he spotted Diya passing by, a crooked grin coming to his muzzle when he did. He waited only a moment before he bolted from the shade, leaping up and atop the polar bear's broad and fluffy back, a little snicker leaving him. He made sure not to dig his claws in as he landed, not wanting Diya to think that he was some kind of unknown attacker. Instead, the rather small bobcat just settled onto her spine, still smiling as he questioned, "Hey, Di... did I get ya? I'd like to think I've still got it." He then waited a moment, briefly biting down on the inside of his cheek before he continued, "I, uh, I also wanted to ask you if we could talk. Cause I could use a bit of advice, and you always seem good at that." Once he was finished speaking, Michael let his chin rest between Diya's shoulder blades, his nose wrinkling slightly. Her thick white fur sure was ticklish.
