He saw she couldn’t breathe when he held her like that and he grunted in frustration. Setting her down he would stop to think.

“Yes Ram. It’s me. I’m here, stay up.”, a bit blunt but eloquence was far from needed in this situation. Amber eyes looked at her, she was very light for him. No where near as heavy as some of the carcasses he has hauled up the jungle trees.

“Alright Ram, Im gonna put you on my back. Stay still and hold on.”

Carrying her wouldn’t be hard, but getting her up enough to put his head under her without injury would be a feat. He looked at her, blood trailing down her spine and all he could think of was “why”.

Why did she have to visit this damn grave?  Why at night? Alone?

He heard a noise. Someone walking and he would lower himself. A deep growl rumbling in his throat. He would stand over her protectively, chin tucked and eyes staring. The glow intensified as he looked in the darkness.

set down on the ground, she coughed, filling her lungs wih air and groaning gently. her whole body ached, and everything stung. doing her best to listen to his instruction, she hazily tried to stand up, nodding deliriously to him telling her he would carry her.

she didn't hear the footsteps but crouched down when kydobi crouched above her. whining softly, she pressed her head into her protecter's chest, seeking comfort. she barely caught Rene's sweet scent, mumbling a faint, "auntie ..." was rene coming to visit her that night?

It was final, she was coming with him. But he would have prefered it wasn't in such a shape that she may lose her life in this plane of existence.

his voice filled her hazy mind, tongue fat in her mouth as she groaned, "auntie?" she croaked, blinking her eyes against the dark night. she could hear him growling and kydobi growling above her, her chest heaving.

"auntie ... wild monsters .." she tried to warn the borde collie x wolf cross, her tail still against the ground, white flashes of her pelt showing in the dim lighting.

Kydobi’s eyes narrowed at the stranger. Even if Ramona had just confirmed they were her Aunt... the pitt did not have an open border policy. This disrespect was something Kydobi tried to ignore.

“Rabid animals attacked her. But you shouldn’t even be here.”, he snarled. It wasn’t really Jerisidies fault at all... but Kydobi was trying to find an outlet for his anger.
