It was only an experiment to see if he had the mental capacity to make someone hallicinate and see what he wanted them to see. Though it had been heavily tiring to keep it up considering he wasn’t used to using his powers offensively at all. The most he had ever down was talk to someone with his mind. Not use it as a way to attack someone or even forget themselves. All of this was trial and error and he was sure that there would come a day he would mess up but he had to continue. This benefited him so much and he would be able to protect himself. These abilities he had kept hidden from the Pitt for so long and now that he was expanding on them he would use them to protect himself. Did he feel bad because of all the guinea pigs he was using in order to flesh out his own capabilities? Yes. He did but he couldn’t stop to think about it because he was always in danger of dropping and becoming that slave again.
His jaws were still clamped around the scruff of the tiny cat but he was being careful as they crossed the heated desert. The sun was starting to rise so it was just mildly warm as the cold began to leech away. His nose twitched as he took in the scent of him and crossed along a high sand dune. Thee travel has certainly been taxing and he had wanted to eat so badly but he couldn’t allow it. At least not yet. Quill might be around to provide if he asked him nicely. Regardless the large yet skinny creature moved forward and pushed his way up the slope and into the fortress that the Pitt resides in. With a gentleness he set the small feline down and he watched her. He knew that she was blind from her mannerisms and so he was careful. ”You are going to live here from now on. What’s your name?”
