Silence. It was what greeted Eri when she first arrived on Sunhaven's border, and it was what remained with her as she warily stepped over the borderline. The quiet atmosphere sent chills down her spine, causing her to peer cautiously over her shoulder, in case, he had followed her here. He, was Overhaul. Of course, despite the fact she managed to get away, he would find her again. He always did. Shaking violently, the young female came to a sudden halt on the shore of Sunhaven's territory, a frightened look in her maroon-colored eyes forming. She could feel tears starting to form in her eyes and she would shake her head to get rid of them. While she did this, she decided to sit down, though her entire body remained tensed.

Pierce had once been the child standing at the border of an unknown clan, scared out of his wits and with no clue what to do with himself. That was when he'd met Riddlersgame, who, despite the pain he may have caused the serval in the past, truly was, and forever would be, one of the best things that had ever happened to him. Without Rid, he wouldn't be where he was today, but that was a different story he wasn't interested in delving into right now.The point was, he wanted to help someone like Rid had helped him, with sweet smiles and his usual warmth. So, when his gaze fell upon Eri's figure, tense and trembling ever so slightly, he felt his features soften, honey chips fixed on the girl as he made a quick approach.

"Hey there," he greeted, tone light as ever as he drew to a quick halt before the stranger. His gaze quickly flicked over her form, memorizing the other's appearance as he allowed a genuine smile to slip onto freckled features. "You're in Sunhaven, if you didn't know, miss. I'm Pierce. What can I do for you?" It was a simple introduction, though hopefully his easygoing demeanor and gentle tone would be enough to ease whatever worries she may have.

Gentle crunch beneath wandering steps, pace slow as each proved languid, no need to hurry for her thoughts are elsewhere, turning upon prior days. It takes time before maroon touches upon a pair, lighter than her own but still harbouring a shade similar, blinking with uncertainty. So small, a leaf drawn to her mind as the stranger shudders, involuntary action she can only ponder over. And it seems all she can do, wondering as to what brought one so to their lands, terror in her as her gaze is drawn back, looking on the landscape she had tread before.

Upon her lips Ishayu feel words, rising yet lingering, never spoken as her attention shifts. Familiar face, speaking words not meant to calm but to question, the curl of a frown easy upon her stark features. “Are you alright?” Finally it slips through, worry within her gaze as the serval joins the other, different for he seems encased in gold while she is silver, lowering her head as she speaks.

The maine coon was the next one to enter the scene, padding in after Ishayu. Each step Bucky made was with complete silence, the former assassin barely putting any weight into his steps. Buckingham padded up to Ishayu, his gaze landing on Eri. As he looked over at her, he could see the tears forming in her eyes. He blinked for a moment, before pulling his thoughts together. "What's wrong?" He spoke up, probably appearing as if he randomly showed up next to Ishayu- while in actuality, he's been standing near her for a few moments. It was like Bucky was a ghost, you can blame his time as an assassin for that.

"Is everything okay?" Bex inquired as she stepped over to where her fellow Sunhaveners gathered around the border, and noticed an unfamiliar face standing there, looking as if she was terrified. The collie felt herself frown as she lowered her head, observing the stranger with widened brown eyes. It was only a little child, and she felt her heart to sink within her chest upon this realization. "Hey... are you lost?" She asked, keeping her tone gentle as she looked down at the young female worriedly. Of course she would be overly worried about this. Where were this kid's parents? Bex could only imagine how worried they probably were, that is, if they were still around somewhere. She knew what it was like to be separated from her own child, and now there was this child here who seemed lost and scared. The situation was a heartbreaking one for Bex to see, and she just hoped that the kid was okay.

Everyone was already asking what's wrong and was she alright so he didn't feel the need to add on any more questions of that variety. There would be no point when it would soon be answered anyway. There was a bitterness seeping into the young feline, eyes of pearls shifting over the animals that were there. He was letting them all down and even with gaining new animals by the day to their humble home he would be letting them down too. It was a wonder they didn't demand for a new leader. Wistfully he sighed as he stepped forward gaze resting on the young female who seemed like she had seen better days and also was terrified. What had happened to her. Shifting from one paw to another he was a bit worried for her truth be told but it didn't show on his facial features. Clearing his throat he settled down near the group and he tried for a smile, gaze resting on the ground before him but he couldn't hold it for long. So instead he went to speak, feeling bad for not being as welcoming as he should have been. "If ya want ya can stay here, especially if ya need some place tae rest. I'm Monroe."

Fear. One of the few emotions Eri was able to express. She didn't know who either of her parents were, nor did she think she would ever get the chance to meet them. Most likely, they were dead. After all, Overhaul had been the one to snatch her from her home when she'd been only a few weeks old and who knows what could've happened to her parents? As Pierce approached her, Eri tensed up even more and she flinched away, half-excepting to be shouted at or possibly even hit. Then she saw the smile on the male's maw, causing her to stare in puzzlement. Kindness was not something she had ever been introduced to, so the smile on Pierce's mouth was a surprise to the young female. "Suh. Sunhaven?" She questioned, before turning fearful eyes to Ishayu and Bucky.

She lifted one of her paws to wipe away the tears threatening to fall upon the ground, before she would shake her head at both of their questions. She wasn't definitely not okay, but she couldn't bring herself to answer either of their questions. Then two more faces showed up, another male and female. She would nod her head at Bex's question and she did the same for Monroe.

If there was one thing Pierce was good at, it was dealing with kids. Even still, this little girl was so obviously scared, and so confused, she would be a bit tough to comfort. Caramel gaze gentle, he dipped his head down slightly to get more on Eri's level, tail curled slightly at the tip as he watched her carefully. She must have known she'd reached a group when she got here, right? At least, she'd recognized that the smell meant there were people around, and known to stop- many adults were oblivious to that. "Do you want to come stay with me, hun?" Clementine, though still ill, was there, and she could certainly use a bit of company around the house. He didn't even know the girl's name, but that was fine- they just needed to make sure she was gonna be, you know, okay before they got into any of that stuff.
