To say the least, Solveig had become comfortable with her time here in the Typhoon. Sure things were... different. She was expected to be part of a group again, something that perhaps on the inside she still struggled with. She refused to show it, of course, as she did with most of her emotions, keeping herself carefully under lock and key. But she had been promoted to Soothsayer, and while her relationship with Rosemary was hardly work-place friendly, she was still determined to... Well, she dare say that she was trying to impress her. Why? Perhaps Solveig wanted her approval. In a Clan full of men, and Solveig knowing mostly men, given that her relationship with any other woman in the Clan, aside from maybe Goldie, was only name-knowing-basis. In other words, it would be nice to have another girl to talk to.
At the very least, Solveig wanted to garner some sort of relationship with Rosemary to prevent the Head Soothsayer from taking her head off one day. Truthfully, Solveig had little doubt that she would. And while she was rather unhappily speaking with her own voice around Rosemary, given she otherwise blocked off her telepathy, she would do it for Rosemary's sake.
That being said, Solveig herself was presently wandering through the foliage and territory of the Typhoon, a basket in her jaws that she was steadily filling with a small variety of herbs, tall grasses, and bits of what could possibly be warm, soft bedding for her snake egg. She'd yet to ask Roxxane for any true advice on the reptile as Jacob had suggested, but the one thing she knew about eggs from her bits of reading was that they needed to maintain a steady temperature. Thankfully, the Typhoon and its tropical climate was already pretty warm and humid, but she was still trying to play it safe.
Wandering silently through the tropics of the island, much the living ghost for how carefully she placed her paw steps, she carried on diligently with her task, her gaze scanning the area for anything useful.
