ever since she joined, there was really only one person who really caught aphra's attention, and that was the captain of the typhoon. that was one reason she enjoyed this place, despite her hatred of the beach (though it was mostly because the sand messed up her fur). the very first person to approach her was the captain, and that was admirable in of itself. it showed that pincher actually went around and interacted with his crew, and aphra had to admire that. if not to take advantage of it.

"oh, pincher~" aphra sang as she made her way around the ship, placing her paws down carefully on the floorboards. "are you around, darling?" she wasn't aware of pincher's relationship with jacob, though it was likely she wouldn't care about their relationship even if she was aware of it. it was her job as a succubus to manipulate others - mostly men, but hey, chicks and non-binary folk were cool, too - and suck their energy from them. the latter was a bit hard to achieve, but at least aphra could try and see if she could manipulate pincher and get him to like her so she can easily find her way rising in the ranks. toy with him a bit, you could say.
