Hot pink eyes, wide and curious, ripe with youth, stared at the landscape. All hellfire, barren, ashen. And then it looked at the seas. Choppy, hateful. The remains of what was a boat were scattered around the small frame, the memory of the night before a blur. Storms, it's only dear friend becoming lost to the icy waters, and then itself becoming lost.
But now, the skies were clear. A nice, sunny day. And it's friend was not there. It was very attached to him, very loyal to him, and having him gone left a void in it's heart. But it shook it's head, and the feline unhooked the bandana that he had given it. Pulling the fabric away from it's neck and holding it up to look, eyeing the 'KILLER QUEEN' lettering to make sure it was still readable, the pink cat nodded and fastened the bandana around it's neck. It went to move, but halted as footsteps approached.
