    The storm had left much wreckage in its path, and every group seemed to still be crawling from the destruction, picking themselves up from the ground. The Kingpin had been so kind as to visit Tanglewood, and she supposed, after a brief conversation with Aesior, that it would be smart to send one of their own north to find out what was happening in the other groups. Every group had the right to hide how they were actually faring, but honestly ... there was a bit more of a personal feeling for her to be coming north. She'd stayed with these peoples when she had returned to the Beyond, and though part of her missed the swamps just from stepping law outside of them, the north called like a secret siren. Was it the thrill of the journey? She no longer knew.

With her, the dark lioness carried a basket with a few jars of late-autumn honey, late flowers and herbs that were dried and tied into a bundle, to be used in teas or rejuvenated by the skilled paws of Byriath or Plexus. She brought with her a small gift for the newlywed couple of Saturn and Byriath, the news of their marriage having reached her part way through the travel. She had to scramble but had luckily managed to stop a merchant and buy something extra special. With the help of a smith and her fire element, the lioness had managed to create a delicate set of glass blown roses as congratulatory gifts to the pair. Those were delicately wrapped in the basket by a beautiful white rabbit pelt. She wished that she could have been there for the wedding but not everything worked well.

Approaching the border, she hesitated before setting her basket down and splitting her jaws in a yawn. Pausing, she made sure her appearance was as clean as possible, flustering at the thought of a certain lion seeing her covered in muck. Clearing her throat after fussing, she sat up straight and waited politely after calling out, "If anybody is nearby, I'm here on a visit!"

I used to hear a simple song
that was until you came along- ꧂

    Things had been interesting lately to say the least. Between their wedding finally happening and then the horrendous storm that washed over the Beyond it was nice to finally get a breather. Saturn wanted to just take some time to go hunt down some more flowers that he could use with his crowns and hopefully be able to set up a little shop where he could trade or sell them. Maybe he should start a garden that way he could have an abundance of them and it would also give the xenosmilus something to do during the day while Byriath was busy do whatever it was his husband did.

It had been a nice day to take a stroll through the territory, the wind nice as it ruffled through their fur. They hummed a simple melody as they strolled, the noise coming to a stop when they heard a voice ring out nearby. They turned and trotted off in the direction of it, pleasantly surprised when they stumbled upon Merlin. "Merlin!" they greeted cheerfully. "It's so lovely to see you," they chirped, a smile dancing on their muzzle
