The larger body of the tiger rested on the rocky bank next to the river that ran through the group's territory. The air was warmer today and it gave perfect opportunity for Jupiter to relax by the river and soak up the sun's rays. The cold of the winter had been long and grueling for the feline as he traveled across the lands, always searching for the one he lost. He could only hope that his hunt would soon be over and his brother would be found but fate seemed to be playing a twisted game with him and always kept Mercury just out of reach. If only the feline was aware how close the two were at this point in time.

The feline stretched out his limbs where he laid, enjoying the time he was able to take to just lay here and warm up. His eyes stayed closed, the tip of his tail lazily flicking as he blissfully napped where he was. Regardless of how it seemed the tiger was still rather aware of his surroundings, he was still new to the group and didn't quite trust anyone here yet so it came to no surprise that his guard would still be up even when he was trying to relax by the river.

It was understandable why Horizon didn't like the river, given his past history with almost drowning, but it was still apart of the territory. An unfortunate fact, not to mention that it was in between camp and one of the busier places around. Horizon didn't like travelling there alone and he felt relief flow through his body when he spotted Jupiter. "Hey." The devil greeted, sitting down behind the large tiger. "Settling in well?"

Jupiter lifted his head up upon hearing Horizon drawing closer to him and then speaking a greeting. He let out a hum, flopping his head back onto the ground for the time being. "I suppose so, it's nice to finally be able to relax," he mused. He lifted his head once more, peering over at the devil so he could study him. The feline pushed himself up just so he could shift his body around to face the devil before flopping back down on to the ground with a huff. He was enjoying relaxing in the sun but felt it rude to keep his body turned from the devil, plus he'd like to be able to see the other.

Horizon shuffled back whenever Jupiter started to move, just to make sure the larger animal didn't accidentally lay on or step on his toes. "I feel that." The devil replied with a chuckle. "Were you alone for a long time?"

Jupiter pondered on the question he was asked. How long had it been now since he was last with another? He was two when he was forced from his home and lost everything so it had been roughly three years now he supposed. "I suppose you could say I was, it depends on how someone would look at time," he mused. He shifted his gaze towards the devil, tail still lazily waving. "What about you? Were you alone or have you always been apart of a group?" he asked.

That was also a tricky question for Horizon. Technically speaking, he had always been apart of groups, but they didn't last very long. Horizon shrugged before answering, "Complicated. I was born near The Typhoon but not actually in the group." He replied. "I mostly stayed by myself after my mother was, um, killed." Touchy subject. Horizon cleared his throat to portray this before continuing, "But I've been apart of a few groups here-and-there, but they just kinda disappeared or disbanded." The Rosebloods had been a large ('official') group for a while but unfortunately, their members just seemed to have dwindled quickly. The Cardinal Sect on the other hand was just like The Frostblown, and unfortunately didn't last very long. But at least The Frostblown was seemingly flourishing for now.

Jupiter hummed in a quiet response to what Horizon had to say. “It’s always sad to see groups fall apart “ he finally spoke up. Jupiter rolled onto his stomach, pushing his body up so he he could stretch, the sound of his jewelry jingling as he moved filling his ears. His jaws ripped apart as a yawn slid past, he shook his neck fur out once his maw closed again. Settling back into his haunches he debated on what to say next. “At least you have this group now and one can only hope it’ll stay,” he mused.

An amused chuckle would leave the beast who had been making his rounds, once again along the river to test its ferocity - trade would open and they could hold their event soon enough and it was best to be done when the river gurgled. Presence coming closer as he made his way, "seems like an interesting conversation", he would speak, stretching out his own body.

The topic of groups and loneliness was a thing he knew, though he'd been with this group since his early days, he remembered the feeling of being solitary and alone. Back then, they hadn't trusted him, few of the Frostblown had stepped close to him or shared tongues with him - only Baalal and later Margaret had ever welcomed him so easily. Misfits the three of them, but misfits together, and now it was his goal to make sure everyone felt included.
