  -- the silent nature of the group had come to bother the epicyon, though he spent most of his days alone, there were some days that he would wish to encounter others in his travels, the forest spooky even to the monster who took up residence within it. the snows did nothing to assauge his concerns, the scents and sounds of others evermore quiet and distant, not things that he could find himself easily enjoying. the lack of children's laughter on the wind, drew the brute from the forest and his mindless thoughts and tasks, out to the empty clearings. perhaps he was the insane one, to stay above ground in the winter.

shrugging his shoulders, the brute would give a mighty yawn, shaking his pelt out as he approached the entrance to the underground, sliding in to find his way to the main living areas. sitting down in the warmer underground, he felt the wary eyes of the npcs, his gaze remaining void of emotion. "hey all of you, come get a task. it's too quiet and doing nothing about it only means staying lazy and sleepy. if you're feeling productive, i'll give you something to do.", he rumbled with a huff, glaring back at those who glared at him in distrust of him and the spear that rested on the ground before him.
