now, the pup loved laertes. he was her father, as she had never known one. but, she needed to get out a bit. do something with her free time. so, she left the nursery behind her to go out and explore. it wasn't long before she was on the shore again. collecting the shells and making a pile. she was going to make more jewelry later. so, she needed them for that.

though she was not finding the shiny gems here like she did last time. that was sad, but maybe she would find some later. the pup stopped her search at the sight of a crab scuttling along the beach. watching the crab for a moment, she never heard the approach of another.

honestly, she never found others here often. so, of course she wasn't expecting that.

I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE WORLD-

Byriath, actually, never had a father. Or a mother. He was manifested long ago, given physical form by a manipulative monster. But he played the role of a father figure to children whose parents were not the best. It was a strange feeling, but so was falling in love.

He wasn't a being to wear jewelry. Only once had he wore something even remotely like it. Flower crowns by his now-husband Saturn, something so pure being given to something as impure and deranged as a God of Malice. Sometimes, he tried to find the meanings of such things. Purity. Very few were pure in this world. Saturn was one of them. As was Zuriela.

Said child was spotted by the large beast, and Byriath's rumbling chuckle drifted through the air. "Are you making a friend, little one?" He spoke, his deep voice resonating in the air. Glowing eyes looked to the pile of shells, and his head tilted. "What's all that, there?"

zuriela would look up as a voice greeted her. eyes finding, without any trouble, bryiath arriving nearby. he was not one that was easy to miss. the male was one of the largest members of the coalition. if not the largest, but she thought that was the strange horse guy she caught glimpses of in passing. he was defiantly the most dangerous one, though. yet, the child did not find him scary, as he was always nice to her.

"i don't know what that is.. it looks like it would be a cool friend though.." she admits with a soft voice as her eyes shifted back to where the crab last was. alas, it was long gone now. a frown tugged at her lips. not because she was sad, but because she was disappointed. "though it doesn't seem to agree.."

after a moment, she would turn back to her shells and blink. realizing that was what he was talking about. she would crane her neck to look back up at the larger being. "oh, those are for my jewelry.. i just can't find any of the pretty stones today.." she answered with barely contained disappointment.

she needed the stones, as well as a few other items, to make perfect jewelry for everyone. one step at a time, she supposed. "i'm sure i can find more later.. what brought you out here..?" she asked with honest curiosity.
