Her house, a rather dutiful and elegant 2-story with white exterior walls and spacious rooms inside, had a relic that Starmap had never seen. A vintage, aged record player. It sat in the corner of her living room, though it appeared to be beat up and, god forbid, dead. It had old records lay scratched and dusty by the table it sat on, but it still fascinated her to no end. Etheria was a very elegant but primitive realm, even simple music boxes were hard to come by. She had owned one, once, but it broke in one of Solstice's anger fits. The thought made her sigh and she picked up a record. Though she could easily speak english, reading it was a whole different can of worms. Unable to read it, she sighed and placed it gently on the ground.
At some random interval as she started to walk across the room, her feet picked up a small rhythm. It was unlike how she stepped when she first saw Bai Shi - while that was panicky, less smooth, this rhythm was consistent, a beat made in her head that came as a hum from the strange girl. She reared up and balanced in a silly dance, spinning on her hind foot before stumbling and falling on the rug in the room. A rush of air left her, an airy laugh in the air.
