The Palm Glades still took from their territory, helped enslave their members, and oppressed them under the rule of Rhinestonestar and Stryker. They could have taken a stand. Just like with the situation within The Pitt, Atticus had chosen to stand up with Vale against The Pitt's inability to take action. To say that Medusa did the same would be a lie. Even if she died as she proclaimed, she did nothing else during the long accumulation of war. The Pittian merely snorted.

The usually outspoken canine was too tired to argue. With his mother and Aurum enabling them too, especially after knowing what he went through, Atticus' fur was standing on end. Before any rash decisions, the canine walked away.
