Seakit, despite his chunky nature, was a sneaky one, once again slipping out of the house in search of adventure. And food. After his previous encounter with the coconut, he wasn't too keen to try that again so he jogged up to the water; remembering being told thats where fish came from.

He sat down at the edge, enjoying the occasional wave that batted at his paws. He didn't know how this was supposed to work, exactly. Was he just supposed to sit here until the fish came out? Yeah! Maybe if he sits really really still the fish will come to him and then he attacks!

So that's what he does. He sits. and stares. for a long time. He is simply just sitting there, staring at the ocean, waiting for the fish to come to him.

Aphra was quite the opposite of Seakit in terms of how they looked. Seakit was small (of course, being a cub will do that to you) and chubby (again, perhaps that was due to his young age), while Aphra was almost like a worm; she was long-bodied and thin, graceful and delicate. A shame her personality didn't quite fit her body. Unlike Seakit, Aphra didn't have to sneak around to do things - to a certain extent. After the whole fallout with Goldenluxury, Marina, and the others, Aphra had to be slightly more careful nowadays.

So it made sense why the pure white feline was out early in the morning. She had to sleep at some point and waking up so early meant that there would likely be no one else up. Save for maybe a few here and there; those that had to guard the camp or had insomnia, for example. She didn't know or care enough to figure out why they were out, so long as they didn't bother her. What did catch her attention, however, was a small silhouette by the water's edge. Aphra decded to approach the figure, trying to hide her disdain upon realizing it was one of Goldenluxury's kids.

"Aren't you a bit young to be out here this early?" Aphra asked Seakit as she approached him, her icy gaze narrowed at him. She sat down next to the tiguar cub, wrapping her long tail around her paws.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

Seakit craned his head back to look at the white cat, smiling up at her. "Maybe!" he chirped looking back towards the sea. "But everyone else is asleep and I'm hungry. So 'm fishin'." He said this very matter-of-factly, as if he totally knew what he was doing and wasn't at all clueless. Forgive him, he's literally just a baby. "What are you doin' up? and what's ya name?" He had turned almost fully to look at her, big green eyes filled with curiosity.

The cheerfulness in Seakit's voice almost made Aphra want to gag. The child was blissfully ignorant, completely unaware of the dangers that the ocean could provide to him, especially at such a time as of now. Sharks lurked the ocean and even if they never really ventured this far onto shore, it didn't mean that Seakit couldn't wander farther into the depths and encounter one. But perhaps that was only wishful thinking...

Aphra paused at Seakit's question, considering if she wanted to answer him or not. Either way, he would learn of her soon eventually and if it got back to Goldenluxury that Aphra had lied to her kid, well.. that might not end good.
"Can't sleep." Okay, a little lie wouldn't hurt. Besides, it wasn't completely a lie. "And my name is Aphra." She didn't bother with her last name; it wasn't important right now. Besides, the kid didn't know of her family or heritage. "You shouldn't be away from your momma though, dear." Even if her statement was true, she certainly didn't mean it. "Aren't you Goldenluxury's kid?" She just wanted to be sure. It should be obvious, given that they were the only tiguars around, but hey, it didn't hurt to get confirmation.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

As all young children are, Seakit was easily distracted and had completly forgotten his "attempts" at fishing. His attention was fully on the white she-cat. He was completly oblivious to her distaste towards him, along with the history she shared with his mother. "Nice to meet'cha Aphra! M' names Seakit but you can call me Sea!"

Whether he chose to ignore her comment about being far from or just didn't hear it was unclear but, she certainly didn't get a response for that one. Instead, he skipped right over to her last question. "yeah! that's my Momma! One of them, at leas'! I also got a bruder named Brandy and a sister named Mari!" he would nod excitedly as he spoke.

Aphra raised an invisible eyebrow at Seakit's response about who his mother was, particularly whenever he mentioned having a 'sister'. "Just one sister?" She asked, though she already knew the answer. Of course Goldie hadn't told her cubs about their stillborn sibling. Unfortunately for the Captain though, Aphra would be the first to jump on that train. It was definitely not a good thing, she knew, but she found odd satisfaction in everyone's reaction. Both the reaction of the news and the fact that someone would say the comments that Aphra made.

Aphra found, trying to fake sympathy towards the cub. "Your mother didn't tell you what happened to your other sister?" Oh this was going to be fun. Horrible, surely; but fun.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

The kitten cocked his headtothe side, fictional eyebrows furrowing as he tried to understand what the white cat meant. [img]http://"Whatcha mean, Ms. Aphra? Of course I only have one sister."[/img] He tried to think back mentally counting his siblings in his head. One...two... Yeah, he's always just had the two, as far as he could remember. "Momma didn't say anything about another sister... Whad'ya talkin' 'bout?"

Aphra tried not to let her amusement show as Seakit confirmed that Goldie never told him about their stillborn sibling. "Oh, hon," She made herself sound sad, a frown forming on her face as she feigned sympathy. "Your mother had another cub, but she didn't make it. You have a sister that died shortly after she was born." Perhaps Aphra was exaggerating just a bit, but she wanted to see the kid's reaction. It was a harsh, sad truth, and one that could be considered immoral. But Aphra clearly had something against Goldenluxury, even if the succubus didn't want to admit it herself. "Goldie didn't tell you about her?"[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

The tiny kit looked down, round ears pushed back against his skull. He had vaugly heard about death, not fully understanding. But, he did understand that if someone was dead, that meant they were gone for good. But why hadn't his mom told him about her? Wh... what do you mean? What happened... What happened to her Ms. Aphra?" he whined, tears beginning to brim in the cubs green eyes. "Why... why didn't she tell me?"

Oh, this was beautiful. But on the other hand, Aphra did feel kind of bad whenever Seakit started whining. She... didn't quite realize the implications this would have. Oops. Aphra held a paw out, an attempt to show Seakit that he could hug her if he wanted to seek comfort. "I wish I knew," She responded, now genuinely feeling a bit remorse for what she said. "Maybe you should ask her about it?" Ah, shit. Aphra said that out loud and almost immediately regretted it. "It's not your fault, though, dear.
