REDVOX "VINNY" ABRAMO - cis male - goat-bat hybrid - harbinger

The Typhoon was the first of the four groups that Vinny had decided to hit on his little escapade meant to invite everyone to the dance the Halls was having. This was mainly due to the fact that their territory was the farthest away, on a separate little island, and one that he had never really seen before, so he found himself quite enchanted and curious about it. It had been a hell of a trek, going all the way through to the edge of the neutral lands to reach the land bridges, but he hadn't wanted to intrude on Tanglewood territory just yet, and that had been the easiest option. His wings and hooves were already faintly aching as he crossed one of the large land bridges to the border of the Typhoon, and he faintly found himself wondering how the hell he was going to survive going to three other groups as well. Sighing heavily, the hybrid sat his butt down in the sand, waiting for someone to come along that he could speak to.

[MARINA]

The faint echo of hooves clacking upon the bridge rang throughout the area. Marina turned her head towards the sounds, noticing a stranger now sitting in the sand. Colored eyes looked them up and down. She curiously observed their mixed features, trying to decipher what skewed hybrid they were before she approached. From their pointed ears to the hooves on their feet, Redvox was an unalluring creature. Thankfully, unless they were going to suddenly use their super hearing and jagged fangs to attack Marina, she felt in the clear. After all, why would just sit there otherwise?

Meandering over, the jaguar mustered up a smile. "Mornin' sweets," she crooned. Was it morning? Probably not. Did she care? Not whatsoever. It was in her nature to roll with the punches and provide flattery anyways. "What's your name and how can I assist you?"

[Keona.]

Tiny paws swiftly carried the petite privateer.  Rounded ears perking in curiosity as she caught a new scent in the breeze.  Mixing in with Marina.  The fae halted beside her crewmate, tail flicking behind her.  Since Marina spoke, Keona stood back, content to wait and listen for an answer before offering her own voice.  She began to angle her head upwards, pale hues shifting in an attempt to 'look' at the stranger.

The stranger possessed a new scent to her.  It did not belong to the Elysites of the mountains, the Tanglers of the swamp or the Pittians of the desert.  But something told her he was no rouge or loner.  He carried something more akin to a group.  Strange.  She wondered where he came from then.

Immediately, Vinny felt a wave of self-consciousness roll over him as he was inspected by Marina, not used to feeling so carefully scrutinized. He had gotten so used to being considered normal by the other members of the Halls that it was uncomfortable to be considered out of place once again. Then again, it wasn't as if he had ever been within Typhoon territory before this, so he supposed he couldn't be too irritated. Taking a deep breath, Vin blinked in surprise when Marina called him "sweets", his face reddening slightly beneath his fur at the affectionate name. He offered both Marina and Keona an awkward smile, dipping his head to both of them in turn before he focused his attentions on Marina. Looking over Marina's brightly colored pelt, Vox mumbled after a moment, "My name is Redvox, although most just call me Vinny. I'm the Harbinger of the Halls of Hiraeth, a rather new group out in the neutral lands. I've come here to invite The Typhoon to a nice holiday themed event. The Halls is having a dance within the town hall of our territory, complete with the obvious dancing, drinks, and food! We're inviting all four of the main groups to this event, and violence or disputes are strictly prohibited." He felt the need to add on the last note, considering the fact that the Pitt was being invited as well, and he knew most of the other groups were eager to continue beating the desert dwelling group down.

Pale hues blinked slowly.  The wheels in her mind began to spin rapidly.  So long as Goldenluxury was gone, she was watching over things.  Idyllfields too, but... She hadn't seen the other lately.

Privateers can accept events... Right.  Keona felt her ears flick back sheepishly, realizing that this decision might be hers to make.  Feeling altogether out of her place, she began to nod slowly, the tip of her tail flicking.

"M'name is Keona, an' 'm a privateer here, so I can accept your invitation.  I see no reason for the Typhoon not to attend." Hopefully an answer the captain would approve of, but he was inviting everyone and it seemed nice enough to encourage attendance...

Likely, Goldie already heard or would be hearing form him soon, if he was inviting the Pitt.  The tiny fae would not lie about her disproval, but it seemed better to encourage some peace and calm while things settled down after the raid.  "I'll spread the word around to everyone."

Honestly, that wasn't so bad.  Even if she felt as though her voice reigned too quiet and she was still guessing on where to direct her eyes.

"While your here, would it be alright to ask you about the Halls of Hiraeth?" Keona's voice is tentative.  Politics.  She lacked much knowledge of it all.  "'m a little curious, is all.  A real simple rundown is just fine.  Views and status maybe.  I don' want to disrupt your travels too much."

It was... a relief, that Keona was being so kind to him. Vin had been petrified that everyone was going to be an asshole to him, whether it be because the Halls was a small group, or because they were inviting the Pitt. A smile came to the hybrid's face as soon as Keona confirmed that they would be coming, and he said in a pleased tone, "I'm very 'appy ta hear that. We'll be delighted ta see ya there, 'n' I'm hopin' that this'll lead ta the Typhoon 'n' the Halls bein' close friends!" He was ready to head off to Tanglewood next, but then Keona was launching into asking him about the Halls. The male blinked in surprise, having not been prepared to talk about their status and all that political shit... he really should've thought of that, considering he was going to all the major groups. Quickly shaking off the shock, Vinny said with a little toothy smile, tilting his head to one side, "Ah, yeah, course it's alright. The Halls is... well, we're not a very antagonistic group, if ya haven't noticed. We tend ta take a very neutral stance on things, and we believe in justice above all, sorta like Elysium. That's one'a the reasons that we're invitin' everybody ta th'dance. We just want ta give everybody a chance ta hang out and 'ave fun, with no fightin' or anythin' like that. Overall, we believe in second chances... sorry if that's not too firm a rundown. I honestly didn't have a whole speech or anythin' planned." He felt a little bit ridiculous, but he honestly didn't want to launch into a whole thing about their pantheon and traditions, so this just felt like the most concise way to put it.
