[Jervis]

There was something about The Pitt that had always gave him a great sense of pride. The utter chaos within the group had just enthralled him. Though it may have it's negative aspects, particularly with what happened to Jerisidie and his colleagues, there were always hidden gems. In battle, there were always pleasant surprises. From the brutal bashings to the manipulative mischief, the ardent was always pleased about what they could come up with. Enemies surely noticed them. Why else would some of their delinquents run here for safety and a place to express themselves?

There were a few chaotic individuals that had caught his eye. Sadly, some animals hadn't gained his attention yet. Romanempire, one of their joiners, surely had to be one of those monsters that would entrance Jervis. The vulpine had yet to meet him though. Perhaps that would change today.

Within the midst of the central marketplace, Jervis wandered about. His weary golden gaze scanned the area, moderating what exchanges were going on. Some were gruesome, others were polite. The leader couldn't help but snoop a bit further into the ones that caught his eye though. Even so, he continued walking around. There were better things to do than concerning himself with peasantry.

[align=center][div style="bgcolor= black; width: 500px; font-family: georgia;font-size:12px;text-align:justify"]Had Roman known that seeing him would have caught Jervis' eye, no matter the how of it, the souls that rumbled inside of the male - and himself - would have waited at the border demanding to speak to the vulpine leader to prove his worth and get in his good graces then and there. Instead, the souls fought for dominance and tried to prove themselves to the Pitt in their own little ways, the latest of them causing the half aflame male to wake up feeling off, feeling broken, feeling like he usually did when he died in some way or another, though he remembered close to nothing. Just bits and pieces of flashes of a broken memory, fighting for control and then shifting to something scarier than his domestic form, and then nothing until he woke up.

That hadn't stopped the male from acting as though nothing happened, however, and simply walked around keeping to himself for the most part. Of course, he made a friend here or there, but mostly due to his slight issue with keeping himself in check, he steered clear of relationships of any kind, and thus could currently be seen walking by himself back to camp, the right side of his face and little patches scattered over his body caught on fire, ears pinned to the back of his head as the russian blue kept track of where he was going, making sure to not run into anybody.

The light from afar caught his eye. Flickering flames sent him back in time to a momential traumatic memory. Crow’s hazel eyes flickered into his mind and the fire that encircled him almost felt as they were coming back, warming his cold stature. Jervis swallowed. The subject of how his precious face was ruined was rather sensitive to him. Perhaps even enough to set him off. Even so, he had to keep his royal facade around the others and embrace the chaos. It was the Pittian way. So after a moment of being frozen, the ardent’s maw turned up into a twisted smile.

His association of the burns ruined any firebender in his eyes. While their powers brought glorious demise to The Pitt’s enemies, the flames also reminded him of his downfall. It was a painful association he couldn’t help. Unfortunately, just like with the others, Jervis was quick to judge Romanempire and his sickly warm haze. That did not stop him from approaching though. The ardent followed Romanempire from afar, keeping his eyes on the blue russian feline. It wasn’t long till he mustered up the courage to wander over. After all, confidence was the vulpine’s strongest attribute.

”Are you lost?” came his vicarious coo. A golden gaze narrowed at the stranger, hoping to catch their upmost attention. ”Perhaps I can be of assistance,” he continued on. Jervis sauntered closer with poise as he spoke. ”My name is Jervis, your ardent.“ There wasn’t a point in time where he wouldn’t manage to show off his power. ”What is your namesake?” If so, he’d enjoy a last name too. The leader was a sucker for family politics, especially his own and the skittish Scottish fox cult that seemed to keep coming up... O’Faelin, was it? Something like that.

Roman hadn't been there when it had happened, but gossip traveled fast, so it was obvious who the male was the second the feline caught a glimpse of the other. Roman hadn't expected the other to speak to him, however, on account of the fire - something Roman was more than used to, but if Jervis had been made of water, Roman would have made sure to steer clear due to past traumas there - and he could only give props to the other as he pricked his ears, stopping in his tracks and head shifting over to look towards the other, listening to the words that were spoken.

Was he lost? Not exactly but there would be no use in telling Jervis of why, exactly, he was staring at the ground so intensely as he walked. "Not lost, no. I know I'm in the Pitt and that I'm currently in the camp." Was he afraid of potentially tripping over something or someone? Yes. Was he lost? No. Glad to have his suspissions correct in that this was the leader of the group that they were currently residing in, the male would flick an ear at the question of his name. "Romanempire," He'd begin, "I used to have a last, but it's long since been forgotten and unneeded." It was something he knew that he used to have, but he couldn't remember it off the top of his head, the souls in his body restless and unwavering on their own, refusing to give up their own last name, refusing to bend to the idea that Roman had his own.
