The Typhoon had recently scored itself a large handful of new members. Dove was pleased! Though she knew this place wasn't permanent, it was nice to know it would succeed. New growth meant new life, did it not? All the new faces seemed friendly and excited to take residence here as well. She was sure this fact would help the Typhoon blossom further.
The guardian angel wondered if she ought to present the new members with a gift of some sort. She thought it would be nice. Besides, that was supposed to be shtick; she was supposed to be angelic and sweet and helpful. She frowned minutely at that. What gifts could she offer them anyhow? All she knew how to do was press flowers. She didn't know if it would suit everyone's tastes, but it would certainly be a nice welcome. Or so she told herself. The longer she resided on the ground, the less she understood.
The albino lynx made for a patch of wildflowers, carting a large book and a few slips of parchment paper. Now, all she had to do was pick the perfect flowers. Another frown surfaced on her features as she realized she didn't know who liked what - or even what their favorite colors might be. "Are all mortals picky?" she wondered, allowed, selecting a small violet to examine closer. "Or would they not care at all?"
