Better to be hurt by the truth than comforted by a lie -

[OOC: ]
It was a lot more than he was expecting. There was no need to tell her about oversharing, in time she would learn all on her own. Besides, she trusted him and he would not revoke that from her unless it was for her well being. And it seemed like she really needed someone to talk to.
"It's alright, I do not mind. So it seems you've had a rather complicated beginning. But it is alright. I had something not as good either. But nothing as difficult as you." His words were vague for he wasn't trying to conjure up any memories for himself. Too painful.
You spend so much time running from something that you often forget what you're running from. Eventually the pain you're trying to escape is replaced by the pain of your flee. But when you recall it's like ripping open a scar to create another wound.
For Kydobi, the past was too painful. Yet he envied the child's ability to accept it and face.
Softly he said, "Sometimes holding onto the memories is better than running from it. At least you heal." Clearing his throat he said, "But if we never look back at what happened we'll just make the same mistakes over and over. So it is good that you think about it. But don't let it get you sad little one. There is nothing we can do to change what has occurred already... But the way you handle it is more mature than most of us."
He was talking to himself really. But it did not convince him. He would flee and run and deny and forget and dream as long as it took to not remember what has happened.
"You're very strong Ramona. Strength isn't a physical thing. It isn't size. And despite what the Pitt thinks, it isn't who is the cruelest and meanest. It is your ability to carry on, keep going, and persevere in any situation when things are tough and fate is not in your favor. I envy you."
He would lean in to touch his nose to her ear in a kind and supportive way if she allowed him.
