[ooc: she is in the marsh btw ]
Oh mama please help me. But mama was no where to be found. In fact she hadn't seen her mother for a long time. Somewhere along their search for her she lost her siblings as well.
So here she was, a scrawny and malnourished little thing. Dying in the mud. Each step she took, despite her featherweight body, would sink deeper. And it took all she could to just pull it out. Quickly she was exhausted. There wasn't any sunshine, it was dark as evening here. No sound but the frogs and her squilsh-squish-squishing. This was really hard. The toxic dirt was up to her chin and so she would tilt her head back and pant, her little tongue bouncing.
Her body felt like lead. But the idea of death being so near was far from her mind. She just wanted a nap.
A whine escaped her, as she could no longer pull her little self up from the mud. Greedily it clutched her ribs and stomach and eventually her back.
