Oh, this heat was dreadful.
Well, luckily, Gigabit could barely feel it's affects. If it hadn't been for the whirring of his internal fans, he probably wouldn't have noticed it. But he naturally knew that deserts such as this one were hot, and so he knew what he was getting into when he first stepped his paws into the sand. He didn't mind the trek, wasn't even bored by it--robots couldn't be bored, after all. And even so, he knew he was doing this for a good cause.
Even so, he randomly sorted through all known species that inhabited the desert, from fennec foxes to thorny devil lizards, and all those in between. He would surely find some here, if he looked around long enough. Hopefully they wouldn't be too scared by his presence.
As he came to a dip in the sands, a wide glittering of golden expanse, he spotted sudden green, the foliage of a jungle coming into view. It seemed he was in luck this day. But, carefully sliding down the sandy hill, his scent sensors picked up something--a mix of smells of other animals. It seemed a group of them lived here. It was no new concept to him, as he had come across a few before, canines that traveled in packs or birds flying in flocks.
So the feline approached warily, coming close to stepping over the border he was hardly aware of.
