Honestly speaking, the petite vixen may be committing the distinct act of avoidance.  Avoiding most any other living creature in the area.  Honestly speaking.  Every few minutes a snow white paw, or her golden ear would shimmer and fade.  Phase away briefly, only to reappear a few moments later.  She just could not get a handle on it.

One second beside a tree, the next ten feet away.  Shimmering.  Golden and white.  Unmatched hues flashed with ire and fear. Iontach.  A feather-light sigh.  Maybe she ought to ask her da for help, or even Anubis.  He said he'd always would.

She did not feel particularly up to looking for him.  Or asking.  Especially since... She stared down her paws.  Still white.  Suvi? Kiira? Both?  No, she did not want to talk to Kiira's friend Anubis.  Talking to Suvi's da Raziel sounded just as appealing.

Iontach.

Chewing the inside of her cheek, the vixen trotted closer towards the swamp's edges.  Maybe she could look for some flowers beyond.  That'd cheer her up.  Give her paws something to do.

Tanglewood.

The Pitt's finest enemy as of right now. While The Typhoon was in the dark about their hidden agenda, that left the others to freely attack them. It just happened to be that Tanglewood was the first to do so. Captain, a dearest Pittian to him, had dumped a body within their territory and caused a conundrum in their relationship that lead to a raid. Jervis knew he had to retaliate. Hence lead him here.

Honey eyes surveyed the swamp land as he strolled throughout the underbrush of Tanglewood in silence. So far there was little that interested him. Through the bushes he went, letting his pelt slip through and show occasionally to tease those who passed. No one had happened to catch on. Those that had wandered past were unaware and landmarks he had passed were rather unimportant to the Tanglewood, signifying that his attempts on those would be rather lackluster. Instead he crawled along.

But there was one that caught on.

They did not smell of Tanglewood's traditional mud scent. No, they smelled salty. Jervis paused in his steps, very interested. A devious smirk curled onto his maw as his gaze shifted towards the smaller and unfamiliar future victim of his. Right then and there a plan formed within his head. Soon enough, out from the bushes he came. "You look lost, dear," he cooed sweetly. There were undertones of venomous intent though. "Perhaps I can be of assistance." Pointed ears perked up in a facade of enthusiasm. He grew closer. "My name is Jervis, you are?" His head craned off to the side.

As it was the vixen nearly jumped out of her fur.  She took step backs, conscious that both her ears had gone non-corporal in fright. Sheepishly, she shuffled her paws, head shaking quickly to and fro.  The fur on the back of her neck prickled and since she could put a name to the face, she knew this was not a Tangler speaking to her.  Or a crewmate.

But Suvi lived by a code.  Kindness to all.  Friendliness first.  Kiira had a few words on that.  Broken trust and the fear of hurt.  A confusing medley of memories and beliefs that did not meld perfectly.

As snow white paws continued to press into the ground, kneading nervously, the sawbone considered the words spoken.  "N-no... I know wh-where I am," she flicked an ear, unmatched hues dancing and flickering like a caught flame.  Perhaps she did look a little lost, but not in that sense, no.  Nice words.  Bad aura.

Jervis.  Vaguely familiar.  Too vague.  Not a Tangler.  Not a crewmate.  But he did have something to do with the Typhoon.  Suvi or Kiira?  If he thought she was lost, he might've focused more on the traces of the Typhoon's scent on her.  "'m Suvi." At least that she could say without stumbling over her words.

"A-are you lost?" She turned on him, brows creasing.  That's a stupid thing to ask.  "O-or j-just passing through?" Truth be told, she did not mind the latter very much.  Her job as a sawbone was to be helpful, and as far as she felt concerned, she could be helpful to those outside of Tanglewood, and even the Typhoon.

Oh they knew where they were? They didn't just happen to wander too far from the sun? How disgraceful. Jervis was hoping for delusional kitten, not an exploratory deviant. The fox wished for easier prey. Yet he kept his head high and golden hues staring down at the kitten in a facade of wonder still. "Ah well, you don't exactly seem from here," he countered. "You smell..." His snout rose his in the air, inhaling deeply as he did so. "Different." A cocky smirk grew on his lips. One sheathed paw reached forward, aiming to stroke lightly at the side of the child's cheek in false sympathy.

His head moved downwards. Golden eyes struck daggers into Suvi’s own gaze, hoping she’d maintain eye contact with him. A paw, once on her cheek, would slither down towards her neck. ”No, no,” he cooed. ”I’m not lost... Just merely looking for something to do.” Jervis looked out towards the horizon in thought momentarily. His gaze shot back soon enough. ”I came here originally to sightsee, hoping that my eye would catch something of interest.” Nothing had done so yet. Priorities shifted to something more personal to him nevertheless. If he couldn’t manage to find something for Tanglewood now, he could always look later. After all, an opportunity was presenting themself in front of him and he was gladly going to take it... Whether it had to be done the easy way or not.

Jervis exhaled dramatically. ”But...” As he trailed off, claws would unhinge themselves from their sockets. ”Plans change.” In a swift movement, his claws would sink in. They would rap around the back of her neck, about where the scruff would be, and have a tight grip that would leave holes. He would attempt to hold her there by mere force. ”You’re coming with me.”

I don't like his eyes. Or his voice.  Suvi took a small step backwards, ears flicking back.  Different.  The ocean no doubt.  Easy to note, clinging to her golden fur.  Different. "Y-yes... I-I'd expect... So." Uncertain admittance.  Weak, weak, weak. She found herself caught, a deer in the headlights.

For she felt no sympathy in his touch, but her legs refused to move. Half afraid her head might just glitch, phase to a non-corporal state.  Her teeth caught the inside of her cheek.  I don't like his eyes. Her own flickered; a caught flame indeed.  The transfixed rabbit, hanging unwillingly on words.  Focused.  Who comes to Tanglewood to sightsee?

Lies, lies, lies. Scared rabbits never ran.  Suvi felt with rather certainly she ought to scramble away, step back, find her voice.  Instead, the smaller vixen swallowed, conscious that her paws were shaking.  Sharp claws found dirt, biting down.  Plans change.

The moment of desperate movement came seconds too late.  A rabbit caught at the throat was a dead rabbit.  Why, why, why? At first a few, frightened withering movements, none of it terribly strong.  Breathe. Then shock-still.  Heart fluttering like a fright train.  A whimper tore from her throat.  "I-I don-" I don't want to. Worse, she didn't want to fight. Unnecessary blood. Pathetic.

Going wasn't killing... Certainly.  Suvi couldn't catch her breath, but she felt sure if he meant to kill her... Surely, they could find a peaceful solution... Her head moves, in the tiniest incline, a reluctant nod.  Defeat. 

Her small body she tried to will to relax, to stop shaking like a leaf in the wind.  Her paws she watched fade away entirety, shimmering, then returning a second later.  No, no glitches, just breathe. Breathe.  Another small nod, just in case, slow, in fear for him sinking his claws anywhere it might hurt.

She'd go.  Quietly.  I'll find a peaceful way.  Like da would.
