the rosebloods had decided that it was time to try to soothe some hostilities with one group out on the coast. and so, the nomarch of warfare had taken it upon their shoulders to visit the coastal group.

when the groups had fallen out last time, or just disagreed, had been before they had joined the rosebloods. they hadn't asked after the connections between the groups, but they were here now, at the border, waiting.

added onto their desert scent, was the scent of sunflowers, the blooms clinging to their mane of fur and hair, a gift from their pharoah to them. head tipped to the side, the golden serpent sat patiently, a basket of goods at their side. among the portions of food were the basic self care items that consisted of herbs and bandages with a few rare desert herbs.

“Bai Shi! How’ve you been? I missed you!” The rather large black Hellhound raced forward to meet with her sibling, aiming to wrap the dragon in a hug as well as she could.

She really didn’t pay much attention to politics, and instead focused more on her family, friends and studies. She needed to learn how to master her abilities and keep her Hellhound nature in check.

“Someone should be here shortly. How’s the Rosebloods?” Hope inquired, though not expecting an answer from him. “Sorry- I’m really excited to see you.” The smoldering Hellhound hoped she wasn’t bothering the dragon too much with the affection.

a warm look met the hellhound that came running forward, the dragon relaxing themselves to a proper height for her to hug them. hugging her back with their massive body, they gave a rumbling purr, "hello hope. I've missed you as well." they laughed softly, nuzzling their sister happily.

"well, I got the rank of the nomarch of warfare in the rosebloods, meaning that I'm practically the war advisor." they laughed, touching noses with their smaller sister. "father passed down the crown to me, and I've stepped up as General. I'm sorry that you had to miss the coronation. Are they treating you alright here?" they asked before their gaze took on a deep grain of pain.

"our brother, astéri, went missing. he left me a letter, saying he was not suited for the rosebloods ... i ... i didn't have a trail to follow. could you keep your eyes out for him, please?" they murmured, voice growing softer and full of grief at the loss of their adopted brother. they had loved him, like one loved a partner, not a sibling. they had since they had met when young.

shaking their head they smiled softly, "the rosebloods are alright. we're getting ready for war, and our pharoah is more stable than he was before. we will be holding a new year's celebration come February, so maybe you could come by?" they purred, licking her ears and horns.
