The ocelot landed on the outer edges of the Ascendant’s territory, her body slowly floating down until her paws made firm contact with the ground. It took quite a bit of practice with Bai Shi to learn how to levitate with her air elemental powers – and even more effort to effectively use it for long distance travel! – but she managed.
She managed well enough that she brought a small tote bag with her, which overflowed with bags of marshmallows. Inside, though, were airtight bags of loose leaf green teas – and a small clay tea set. Rosemary didn’t know if the Ascendants knew anything about teas, but it seemed customary to bring a gift for these ally visits. And after the business with the Tanglewoods… well, she wanted it made absolutely clear that she came in peace, if the herb-scented satchel at her shoulder didn’t make that clear enough on its own.
“Hello, Ascendants! I’m Rosemary, from the Rosebloods. I’d just like to check in with all of you and share some gifts for the holiday season,” the four-eyed feline called out. Her voice, soft and raspy, failed to carry on the wind. But she was used to repeating herself, anyway.
