history. / here's a lullaby to close your eyes
cosette was born to a slave mother, her father unknown. she was the youngest out of her siblings, her brothers being bishop--later known as yesman--and fae--also later known as 'leopard.' aside from their mother, fae did a lot to look after his younger siblings, until bishop was taken away to be experimented on. not long after, fae was taken, too, sold off to be a fighter.

now only her and her mother was left. it was a rough life, even more-so without her siblings there. she had to help her mother do all the chores their masters didn't want to do, all while being fed very little and sleeping in very poor conditions. when she was almost one year old, she was finally taken away from her mother. the last thing she saw of her was her being beaten harshly for stealing a necklace, which she still has to this day, her most prized possession.

in her new home, a rebellion was brewing, the slaves having had enough of the poor treatment they received. she tried to avoid getting involved the best she could, but when the group was burned to the ground, she had no choice but to flee, finding herself wandering the desert and eventually finding the pitt.
