[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Sephiroth had become a cryptid for the past week after the absolute wreck of a meeting.  He was seen really only to welcome a few joiners and eat, but other than that he kept the shadows and to his own private quarters.  Was he letting things cool down after the incident?  He didn’t exactly consider that the reason.  If anything he wanted to think about things, to search for himself without Mother’s influence.  Had he come to an epiphany?  Not really, he was a stubborn creature, but he didn’t have much of anything big or traumatic planned for this meeting.

He roared his typical wild and wordless vocalization as he skulked into the meeting room, blood cleaned from the week prior and not showing any sign of the chaos from that time.  Sephiroth’s posture also did not betray any particular emotion to the crowd.  There was something off about him.  A single red poppy flower was tucked into his mane, into the left bang-esque forelock that framed his face.  It stuck out with it’s bright color prominently showing against his pale silver mane.  His eyes looked sleepy as he watched members file in, no doubt suspicious of what he had in store.  They need not fear him this week.

”Rosebloods..”  The male’s velvet murmur was quieter than usual, the only show of his lowered mental state.  That and the lack of sleep he had been getting these past few days.  In fact he hadn’t slept at all, and it showed no matter how he denied it.  ”We have more joiners this week.  Welcome to Vagabond, Goldenboy, Rimmy, Bai Shi, Asteris, Kliment, Mogar, Domani, and Luli.  We welcome you into the group.”  There was no drink this week, he hadn’t cared enough to bring it out.  That and he was wondering how to replace it, or give it actual meaning and purpose aside from proving loyalty.  Clearly it meant nothing to anybody, considering they very easily turned on him last week.  He simply sought them out in the audience, dipping his grand cranium slowly to them in greeting.

”Shout outs to Vagabond, Rimmy, and Goldenboy.  They all get the Squire title.  Frightfur has disappeared, and thus lose their rank.  I see promise in many members here, there will certainly be promotions next week so keep up the activity.”

Sephiroth’s expression lightened up a small bit, a small amused smile on his jaws as he no doubt was about to poke some nerves.  ”Ignis was incredibly pleased with the bloodshed last week.  Sacrifices will be held every other week; next week I expect so see everybody at the Wastes.  With one Aspect appeased another demands tribute.  The soft-hearts in the crowd need not worry, there will be less violence this week.”  His voice held a small bit of disdain for the behavior some of his members expressed last week, and his eyes narrowed into alien slits as he gauged reaction in the crowd.  ”Terra, the Aspect of Earth says we are to worship her this week.  She wants creative endeavors to be practiced this week.  Art, crafts, any other task of the sort.  Do this, and she shall be pleased.”

Less bloody news this week clearly, and what else he had to say clearly enforced it.  Sephiroth would motion a claw towards the flower in his mane.  ”We continue to forge our identity.”  He rumbled.  ”We are called Rosebloods.  The flower can represent many a thing.  The species, the color, all tell a story.  They are important, and can forge a culture if given the opportunity.”  A toe brushed a crimson petal, his eyes thoughtful.  ”I wish for us to adopt symbolism of the flower.  Families may pick a certain flower to represent them, single members are encouraged to pick their own flower to symbolize themselves.  In the future there may perhaps be ceremonies, or a flower to represent a rank or achievement.  If others wish to speak to me about this and provide ideas, I am open to it.”

”I am working on an event for our allies this week, what one would call a potluck.  A gathering or party where everybody brings alone a prepared food item of their choice to share.  It shall be set up later this week, and I wish that allies be invited.  If anybody wishes to go and invite the Tanglewood and Ascendants to our event when it happens, I will gladly accept volunteers.  I want more positive interaction with our allies in general, Ambassadors should go and check up on our allies and see what is going on.  As soon as possible.”

”…I do believe that is it this week.”  Sephiroth would say, shifting slightly into a sitting position with his shoulders hunched.  Hopefully nothing controversial was said this time around.  ”If there are no questions, dismissed.”

-there's gonna be a potluck this week!  volunteers to send out invites when the event is posted are open(ascendants invite reserved for goldenboy!)
-more interaction with our allies in general! a call for ambassadors to head to their respective clans and ask whats up and interact!

. This was, what, Eddie's third meeting here? That was weird, he'd been here .. almost two weeks. It felt like longer, but Eddie figures this is expected. If time flew when you were having fun, it sure went fucking slow when the group you chose turned out to be more fucked up than anticipated.
Eddie, while not particularly good at knowing what time stuff was, manages to show up shortly before the meeting begins, choosing an inconspicuous place to settle. Now, he has no idea why Sephiroth is wearing the flower, but he figures it doesn't matter.
The meeting itself is .. okay. Welcomings, shout-outs. Frightfur was gone. Eddie didn't know the feline well, but it's a minor shame. Altogether, the meeting is standard, as well as Eddie figured 'standard' went in this place.
Then there's the aspects. Eddie resists the urge to scowl at Sephiroth's mentioning of Ignis. WE COULD TAKE IT, Venom grumbles in response to Eddie's emotions. "Fight a god? That's a little out of our range, I think," Eddie murmurs, too quiet to be heard. Venom snorts, minorly insulted, but otherwise unbothered.
He thinks he prefers this "Terra" Aspect much more. Art -- Eddie didn't do a lot of art. He liked to draw when he was younger, but not so much now. But, writing was a creative endeavor, and so Eddie would participate.
.. Eddie didn't really know about flowers, either. He nearly groans upon hearing the announcement. He doesn't know anything about flowers, but he'll be expected to participate, anyways. Venom seems somewhat curious. Eddie doesn't bother to ask them to elaborate. It'll probably have something to do with all of those books they're reading -- god knows what books Eddie has in his collection. Maybe he'll know eventually, though. His Other has been organizing them as they went, after scolding Eddie for being so messy.
"Got it. I'll go," Eddie says casually towards the end of the announcements. He's Tanglewood's ambassador, after all. A potluck .. Eddie didn't know how to cook, shit. But he'd try anyways, and hope to god they didn't burn down the forest.

A soft growl escaped the hybrid as he made his way over with his large ears curved forward to listen to what the leader of the place was doing, Kliment didn't seem to care for any of it but the sound of a potluck made his nostrils flare. What was a potluck? He was close to asking but refused to even ask as he sat down with his spiky tail curled around his foreclaws, of course, he was being welcomed to the group even if he didn't find much purpose in it. He lifted a forelimb using his knife-like claws to scratch at his chin and neck lazily, his jaws suddenly parted to show rows of sharp teeth though one would expect him to speak but all that escaped those jaws of him were a yawn. Something about sacrifices, new people, making sure alliances are kept. Yada yada yada. All of which was boring. All the talk but he had yet to see any action taken, it often made the hybridzation wonder if the Rosebloods or any of the other clans were even taken seriously. Boring custom everyone had to get used to and live amongst people with different views and cultures. Not all that enticing in his opinion, he'd rather tear flesh and show he could prove a point.

Questions no one can answer -

Vagabond had no idea that there were meetings that were being held in this place. He had been caught at the right time, albeit short, when he heard a roar that made him stop in his tracks. Hearing the sound of a lions roar would make anyone that wasn't used to being around animals check behind their backs to make sure that they weren't about to be slaughtered either. The massive hellbeast was curious as to what was going on and decided to make his way over. He arrived soon enough to hear the announcements, and the more and more he heard, the less he liked of it. Sure, the crew was being welcomed to a place like this, and he had been given something. Squire sounded like that was something British. He was going to have Goldenboy explain later what the title actually meant. The lion that he had interacted with before began to talk about sacrifices, and then talk about appeasing the gods. What the fuck? This wasn't something that Vagabond would even remotely take part in, and if the others were going to take part of it, then he wouldn't want to be around them either. All of this sounded insane and archaic. No wonder humans were a lot more advanced than the likes of animals because they knew that none of this actually mattered. There was no reason to sacrifice something that actually wouldn't do anything in the end. The facial expression of confused and annoyance was hidden behind the mask that he wore. His vivid blue eyes looked around the crowd to see who was agreeing with whatever this guy was saying. Seriously? Some were going along with it, ad the other was Kliment, who just seemed to not care as he did. Vagabond lashed his twin tails behind him as he shook his head to whatever was being said. As the leader was saying his finishing points, the former human would begin to turn himself around and walk away. The rest of the crew would want to hear this if they weren't attending whatever this was considered to be. He didn't like it for even a second.

Rather then any worry of sin or the accompanying consequences, well had his teenage and adult years been seeped with such things once called sin, it had been the press of his father, holding his family beneath him, controlling with his own belief. This seemed no different no matter the names this God, or within the case of those here Gods, bore it was all just a pretty way to hide there was nothing there but lies to control and manipulate.

Flick of lone ear, the only one that stood for the other flopped over upon itself and thus his hearing was impaired some, lift of fur along the line of his spine. Carrying minimal experience with animals of any great size Mogar acted as one may expect, the fear apparent in the twist of dark lips, faint the sound drawn from his throat. Similar was his own reasoning for raising, allowing his steps to draw him forth, touch of dark eyes upon the larger canine brief. Bad blood tainted what was a strong bond between them still, the years and the bloodshed they had both experienced, been apart of, enough so they were family in a way.

“You ever take that fuckin mask off, I wanna see your ugly mug one of these days,” quip rose with casual ease, spoken a great many times before. Well known was it Vagabond refused to remove the mask for any reason, identity kept under tight wraps even within the penthouse they had once shared, stark the contrast between them for never had Mogar bothered to hide his own face unless they were invading enemy territory. Instead he spoke with a laugh at the edge of his words, sharp the draw of smile before he drew to a halt, ear flicking as the announcements began.

Difficult was it to swallow the words, this speak of Gods. Indeed did it seem the humans were a great deal more advanced though such proved apparent, it mattered not the sentience of these animals they lacked the experience they had gained from history. The blood they had shed had not been for sacrifices in the name of some God but for their own gain, at times mere vendetta pushing them into action. Scoff rose and the canine was turning, departing the scene before all was concluded, thinking it better to leave all of this to the rest of them who cared for such things, this was nothing more then temporary refugee for all he cared.

Meeting time again? Well, the week came and went faster than she anticipated -- there seemed little enough time to settle in, especially with such odd other Roseblood members. She neglected to see another woman anywhere in the group, at this point, which annoyed her. The Typhoon hadn't been much better, with mostly her nieces counting as the women of the group, but still. Too many sausages, not enough tacos.

Taking a seat, the physician waited to see if that was all.

bai shi had moved to join the group, head dipping when mentioned. they were new, less aware of the carnage of the last meeting, but word had gotten around of course. they were in the process of coming up to speed with all of the events going on around them. they had a few plans now, listening to sephiroth speak of creative tasks and such. huffing they flicked an ear, mind absorbed by the news of a potluck with tanglewood, thinking of what activities they could help portray.

If Rosemary was looking for another Taco than she had found one the tail of the femme brushing the ground lightly as she entered the meeting abnormally late seeming to miss the announcements. Hopefully, the pharaoh was smart enough to realize the only reason she would ever be late is that she only recently returned from feeding herself, something she doubted he would call her out for in public. Since they had responded poorly to his sacrifice, the calico knew he was clever enough to figure out that they would likely not be fond of her cannibalism. Mind plagued with the possibility of some members loosing their heads finding out their vizer lived on the meat of her own kind, she had cleaned up well so the scent of feline blood was replaced by strawberries. Jiyu strolled through the group her unchanging expression partly hid beneath the large tuft of black hair fallen over the left side of her face, making her way up to her position on the stairs just a step beneath the leader. At least it seemed she would be on time for whatever part two was and animals talked enough she'd be able to figure out everything else later.
