A late night pool party, huh? Given the Starpool's namesake, how it brilliantly reflected the stars, and the sky when it was daytime, it made sense. Besides, winter would be quickly encroaching on what warmth and time they had left before it would probably freeze over. So, the lioness decided to make the best of it, what she could, at least. In the pool were glowing floaties for children who could not quite swim yet. There was music on blast, the grass itself had those glowing star stickers. There was a small area for those dancing. Refreshments, punches, water, and food, mostly cookies, crackers, that kind of thing, was available.

As for the pool itself, she managed to get a small dock, well-- a not moving piece of wood in the middle, so one could stare in and see the stars.

She opens a bottle of sparkling juice, calling, "Let the fun begin!"

"Is that juice? Holy shit, you prepared for this well." Onision barked as he walked over when he heard the call, his fluffy tail wagging in unhinged excitement. He hated being a dog, because everytime he was happy and wanted to mask it under his usual scowl, his tail decided hey you, you're gonna fuckin' show you're happy whether you like it or not and started wagging. Fuck you too, tail.

Sliding into the water, the two-toned canine allowed himself to pour a glass of sparkling juice into a cup, taking an idle sip of it. He liked juice, but he liked it with no sugar in it, the bitter taste making his tongue happy because flavors just.. Weren't his thing. He didn't like sweets, preferring spicy things, so he stayed away from the foods offered, merely allowing himself to soak in the water as he stared up at the sky.

▹▹▹▹ Given that Atticus had been the one to give Sekai this task, he had to say he agreed silently with Onison's exclamation as he approached the small little gathering that the girl had prepared. The black jaguar padded up quietly, his steps gliding carefully across the forest floor and towards the moister ground of the lake's edge, looking over everything with a fine eye before his golden eyes would slowly turn to Sekai, a small smile pulling at his usually stoic lips. "You did a fine job, miss Sekai," his low voice rumbled softly, allowing himself a breath inwards before he followed Onison's lead and stepped into the lake, padding himself out until his paws could not touch the water, making for the small dock in the center to lean his paws upon so he could stare up to the sky. The sweets he would return to in time, once everyone else had their fair chance of trying them as well, instead staring up upon the glittering sky and the relative peace around them. "Though do me a favor and save me one of those cookies," he added with an amused glance backwards as the music playing from the radio Sekai had brought surrounded the area, though at least now he had secured himself  one of those treats. Heck, he might even take some star stickers (secretly) and decorate his room a bit more later. But until more people arrived to join the party, he was quiet content to stay where he was.

Staring at the stars was something Atbash enjoyed back in Snowbound. Since the tribe was in a tundra, it was easy to see the stars at night, provided it wasn't snowing or cloudy. Atbash often found herself laying on top of her cabin and staring at the sky, wishing she could go back home. Of course, that could never happen, but that was something the female still wished upon.

And now, being in The Ascendants, going 'home' would be going back to Snowbound. But the tribe was disbanded, having fled from their camp due to the place being buried in flames. Just like the place she had been born in. Why don't you focus on what's happening now? Atbash told herself as she made her way towards the Starpool, having received word of the party that was going on. Quite honestly, despite being a leader of a previously allied clan, Atbash knew nobody here and almost felt like an outcast among her new clanmates. However, the savannah forced her worries away and tried to smile at Sekai as she approached her. "You hosted this party, yes?" Atbash spoke, dipping her head to Sekai. "Thank you, this is wonderful." This would be a wonderful time to relax, provided her thoughts didn't haunt her during this. "My name is Atbash Cipher, by the way."

Titan wasn't one for informal, wild and raging parties. The leader could stomach attending ally events such as balls and gatherings, where they served somewhat of a purpose, but parties... it didn't do the rather introverted male any good.

However, since it was such a beautiful night to observe the canopy of stars up above, Titan figured that he'd make his way to the Starpool and observe the night's festivities. The lion arrived quietly, as per usual. Kids were splashing about in the shallow water, others were chattering and enjoying the snacks offered, and a few were simply gazing at the stars. Titan, for one, was going to participate in the latter.

The Astral Seraph sat a small ways away from the noisy crowds and settled down near the edge of the Starpool itself, craning his large head to look upon the constellations. They twinkled and burned brightly in the twilight, and he could not help but be mesmerized by their everlasting beauty. When all of the dullness and ugliness of the world around him prevailed, at least the stars would always be a sight for sore eyes.

They had been barred from participating or hosting anything that would even resemble one by the Ascendants standards, but the plethora of balls and masquerades that had been held in the rare moments that the witchling clans could actually get along had quickly became some of her favorite events. The music, the food, and especially the rare moment she shared with her beloved off of the battlefield had a special place in her icy heart and as she arrived at the Starpool, she could only smile contemplatively at the sight for a few moments. Sofiya would have loved this, diving right into the probably chilly waters and dragging Agathe with her. She had always wanted freedom and a life not spent pleasing others. It was why she had had to die- why the Astral Seraph had had to kill her.

Suddenly, Agathe could no longer stomach the thought of her.

So she merely found herself at Atbash's side, investigating the former Snowbounder with a relatively empty golden gaze. "Hello," The leopardess murmured in that soft voice of hers, a rounded ear flicking, "How are you settling in?" She didn't care as much as she let on but figured that it'd benefit all parties by engaging in idle chitchat. Besides, she wasn't ready to wreak havoc upon the food table just yet and needed something to occupy her until that time came. This wasn't nearly as eloquent an event as she was used to but she liked it all the same. Sekai had done surprisingly well.

Atbash jumped at the sound of Agathe's voice, blinking in surprise at the leader before relaxing. She hadn't heard Agathe approaching, which startled her in the first place, but the addition of Agathe coming on her blind side was unnerving. Even so, Atbash knew the female didn't mean to. You're safe here. She thought to herself, before offering Agathe a smile.

"I'm settling in just fine," Atbash chirped back. "I do miss the cold, but luckily with winter approaching, I might feel more at home here." But once winter went away... would she still feel the same?
