BAD ROMANCE || BUDDY WEEKLY TASKS 11/02 - 11/09

Today was her turn to do weekly tasks and she was actually rather excited about it. They needed to do more buddy building and what would help with that more than giving two animals a task to do together. The woman glanced around with a rather coy smile upon her muzzle. She had a lot of ideas to start this one off and she gave a soft grin as she settled down near the edge of the village. Her pelt was fluffed up against the rising cold and she shivered slightly before forcing herself to stand up straight. Ain't no cold was going to hold her back and she had to admit she loved the winter time and what it brought with it. "Oi, ya all gather round for some buddy weekly tasks!"

Wendell was the first to appear, sauntering nigh as the Helion bid her underlings to fall in and receive a ‘buddy weekly task’. The idea rather excited him - it was an opportunity for the birth of a new friendship, and if not that, otherwise a chance to solidify a pre-existing bond; the sole other he may have had a connection with was that Ichigo fellow. As for the rest of Sunhaven, they remained as strangers which he’d lived among for months, an undesirable fortune that he’d soon attempt to fix. Preferably, for this week, a suitable partner opt to be an individual which he was not acquainted with, just to get to know someone else.

Casting Marina a glance as warm as ever, which was unfazed by the incoming chilliness of hereafter, the wolverine proclaimed, "Count me in!".

Weekly tasks. He knew them all too well. He had lost count of how many optional tasks he had given out to his own clan. He probably couldn't even count all of them on his paws. Either way, he knew that Weekly tasks were a good way of getting a clan going and working again. The wildcat also used to do his own weekly tasks when he would ask for them as a leader himself. The Shinigami didn't know what to think about the idea of working for Sunhaven in such a way. But, he at least wanted to pull his weight a little bit here and there on top of his other tasks at hand too. One thing that he was glad about though was the changing weather. He hated the heat thanks to the black armor that he wore that absorbed the heat from the sun, making it easier for him to overheat at the same time. The Shinigami had to take care in making sure that he didn't completely overheat when he was just up and walking around. He flicked one of his rounded ears at the sound of a slowly growing familiar voice. He turned his head in that direction, and he shrugged his shoulders. Despite how exhausted he was, he didn't have anything that he hadn't done today. Having been out all night dealing with ghosts and spirits. He heard Wendell's voice as he approached, and he was curious to know what a Buddy task even was right now. Did that mean that they were going to be paired up? Probably. Considering that it was only him and Wendell approaching the larger canid, he could bet that they would be paired together. Not something that the Shinigami disliked as right now the wolverine was the one Ichigo was the closest to. His armor rattled as he approached, his bi-colored eyes looking at Marina, the black tip of his tail twitching before he finally spoke. "I might as well take one." Ichigo stated calmly with a shrug of his shoulders.

Bex, of course, knew what weekly tasks were, but she had never done a 'buddy' weekly task before. Was it just weekly tasks, but with a buddy? Would they be paired up to complete tasks? That's the only sort of explanation Bex could come up with as she padded over, nodding toward the helion. She knew that she could always use something to do, especially since she didn't want to end up getting bored or anything. "Sure, sounds fun," the female woofed, a smile beginning to grow upon her muzzle. Well, this would be an interesting new experience, that was for certain. Maybe Bex would end up loving it more than normal weekly tasks, whatever the difference between the two were. She'd just have to wait and see.

"Marina!" The Solbinder called as she raced in the direction of the gathering Sunhaveners, "I need one!" She plopped her butt down in a good spot, looking through the crowd for closely familiar faces. Honestly though, she did want the Helion to pair her up with someone she hardly knew, as she could use some bonding time and make new friends. Well, possibly. If they got along, anyways.

Seemed like she had some takers and so she gave a light nod of her head to the group of four animals. That seemed good enough and she allowed herself a light breath as she thought over what they could do. Lightly she tapped her paw against the ground and she gave a small smirk before she looked to the wolverine and cougar. "Alright, [member=1787]WENDELL[/member] and Ichigo. I want ya tae host a barbecue and tae invite some of our allies tae it. Make it any way ya like tae. [member=1181]REBECCA M.[/member] and [member=2426]Leona Arcanium[/member] I want both of ya tae work taegether tae host a swimmin' class. We all need tae have basic swimmin' down since we live so close tae the water."

wow, buddy tasks. that sounded really cute, quaint! venus wasn't sure whether or not they liked the prospect of having to work together with another person who might have a different opinion on how to go about their task, but liked the idea. it was just a slightly more difficult task than most to let go of some pride, force venus become less competitive. but it was just so hard since everything was a competition if you just tried hard enough. "ooh! that sounds positively neato, count me in." chiming in, venus joined the gathered haveners excitedly.

If Mot were to have to pitch in some way to stay here, he might as well start here. This in particular would be perfect considering he'd have someone to split the work with - maybe a little less than even, depending on his buddy.

The feline made his way over just as Marina finished handing out the first batch of tasks. His eyes were natually drawn to the other individual waiting to be assigned something. A mischievous grin slowly curved across his face.

Mot stopped uncomfortably close beside Venus and leaned in to the other. "Oh, I do 'ope I'm partnered with you, friend," he said in a mocking of Venus' excited tone. Mot couldn't begin to guess what reaction he would receive from this unfamiliar individual whose personal space he was now invading, but he would soon find out.
