Even he could not think up of an even more dumber reason. Back home, the occasional rivalries between sled teams could be expressed in the form of hate. Aside from most sled leaders, Victor managed to keep a cool and collected head when a rival tried to challenge him to a fight. He knew better than to engage in such childish games. Andrei had been the name of Victor's ultimate rival, a rather mouthy and rude individual who tempted Victor far more times than he cared to admit. It was hard to miss the rival sled leader for his fur was almost as red as a sunset with eyes that looked like they belonged to a lion. Victor always took the high road, ignoring or rerouting the nasty comments the other male would always spit out at him.
Even so, Victor could only take so much. While he did his best to avoid giving in to his rival, he finally lost it when Andrei had began to harass his sister. That was when he drew the line. With his older brother in tow, Victor ended up whipping Andrei's ass and that had been the end of it. Sure, he did not enjoy it, but something had to be done. Having grown a bit older since then, he saw the error in his ways and wished he had handled the whole ordeal better. "And here I thought it was something much worse."
Vigilantes? He always pictured Batman and Robin in his head when he heard that word. Quickly pushing aside the idiotic mental images, he shifted his gaze, looking out across the plains. It was so peaceful here. He was a bit envious. While the island was nice and all, he missed the wide open spaces. He clenched his jaw, mind drifting off for a brief second. Self-serving. That was what he would call the groups. "I honestly don't know what the Typhoon does. Though, I haven't been there very long." Drawing his eyes back to Onision, he drew in a breath.
