The real tension laid between Stryker and Esklav and their clashing views on the clan's outlook on things, especially after Regil (now known as Levi) arrived within their territory. With Levi's arrival, Stryker had managed to help the male join in on their fun, but with a cost. An unfaithful electrical shock had traveled through his body by their leader's hand, threatening to demote the lion for helping an outsider who would eventually become one of their own. Without joking, he was definitely shocked. The reaction from his superior was unprompted and quick to happen. Stryker, obviously, was very upset by the result and refused to acknowledge the problem otherwise. After all, he was a Slaver. He shouldn't have any apparent disregard for those lower than him, especially now that Levi was a 'slave' to their leader. In reality, everyone was a slave in the mind of that sadistic fuck. No wonder everyone accepted Levi as a true member quicker than ever.

Despite all that, the openly cocky lion had went cold when seeing Levi in public. Unable to address the problem without receiving public indictment was troubling, but Stryker needed to clear his conscious eventually. He did nothing wrong morally. Even so, he felt as if he needed to apologize and talk to the male. Disappointingly, the confident male wasn't sure how to address the problem.

Still, he needed to. Stryker found himself in the middle of the quarry with eyes wide and his gaze scanning the area. Soon enough, he hoped to find Levi wandering. Eventually, his gaze caught onto the glimpse of the doberman, approaching him slowly. Shit... hopefully they didn't make eye contact. It wasn't too late to back out.

Perhaps, he had simply failed to acknowledge it. The doberman had spent the past week trying to pull his weight, even if it got difficult at times. His body was close to being healed, but he was still not a hundred percent. It would take awhile for his broken ribs to fully mend. It was a miracle his lungs or an organ had not been punctured. In his mind, he chalked it up to pure luck. Even so, he had a nasty habit of pushing himself beyond what his current limitations were. It was how he was brought up, to simply walk it off no matter how bad it was. Back in Reyes' pack, if you could stand, you could fight. Many died from that logic, but Levi and Lecter knew to avoid injuries the best they could to dodge that terrible fate.

The dog had noticed the large cat had been avoiding him, but on whats grounds, well, he was not certain. Levi did lack social skills, but with the passing months was he improving with great strides. He was growing more brazen around his group mates, yet he failed to form any true relationships with any of them. Even so, he knew it would take time and patience. Feeling the sensation of someone watching him, his hazel eyes were quick to meet Stryker's own eyes. Stopping in his tracks, he stared at the other, trying to read what exactly their intentions were. He did not sense any hostility, so he believed it was alright to investigate. Expelling a sigh through his nose, the male proceeded forward. 'Can I help you with something?" No malice could be found in his tone for it was a simple question without any strings attached.
