Peace Of Mind Is Less Than Ever;; Fire Safezone.

It was so dim-witted, she had let her leader run back into that flaming mansion after she had almost gotten him to safety! Right against the back of her eyelids images of her past tormenters playing on repeat mixing into the flames. Why was it that she saw them the second that Prestige asked her to take care of everyone else while he ran back into the mansion? What about that moment made her feel so cold and small. Against every bit of better judgment she had, the calico had accepted something she never deemed herself capable of doing, for the second they got through all the burning trees, she no longer would know what to do but she couldn't slow down their retreat to give herself time to think out a solid plan. If she had remained in the mansion and forced Prestige to take everyone away? That was something she could never fail, even knowing that she had let the leader run into danger and retreated from it with everyone else, directing everyone as she kept a keen eye out for anyone that she could add to the slowly growing mass of frightened animals fleeing for their lives, under her care.

In spite of her stoic expression, against what her emotionless eyes and calm voice shouting orders spoke of, she was terrified. Jiyu couldn't care for people like some Queen even raising her own children had gone haywire, she couldn't care for other's, just protect them! Yet, she was now stuck caring for the entire Roseblood, at least what had currently gotten out of the mansion and such. All of the sudden, this thing felt so lonely, her heart aching inside of her chest, desperate for anyone who actually knew what they were doing.

Eventually, the retreat led to a rockier area near the border where the flames had not yet spread. With all the smoke everyone had inhaled? They could not run forever, so she slowed to a stop, looking at them again, the fear, the desperation, the blackened spots. "We'll stop here until Sunrise." every word out of her mouth hurt, and she didn't notice this was likely partly because both of her sabered fangs had been knocked out earlier, fresh blood on her lower muzzle from it. "Lydia, I need you to do anything you can for everyone, I know you don't have any materials and you aren't a full healer, but anything you can do it better than nothing." they had to make due with what they had, and Lydia would be enough, she had to be, Jiyu couldn't do anything for anyone who had been injured especially without her powers. Even though she had no powers, for some reason she felt stronger right now than she had in years, probably the adrenaline and the knowledge they needed her. "Sephiroth, keep an eye on Stockholm and any of the other children around, keep them close." considering the trauma this sort of experience could be, something fluffy to snuggle into would be useful for the kids and the lion certainly fit that bill. With that, she looked around to see who else was around, so she could give them something to focus on other than the fire and the fact Prestige was still in there.

Why had she agreed to this? How was she supposed to do this, she couldn't even comfort her own demons much less the fears of everyone here, she remained silent most of the time for a very good reason in her mind!

A small frown on his maw, the young child would search through his brightly-colored satchel and he pulled out a small amount of herbs from it. He pulled out some witch hazel and marigold. He would close his satchel, before carefully grabbing the leaves with his jaws and he would glance around, wondering if there was anybody that was injured from the fire.

[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Sephiroth wasn’t sure how long he had ran; it had felt like hours.  But he found the safezone relatively easily once he caught scent of Jiyu and the heat of the fire stopped catching at his paws and tail.  He had dropped off Stockholm as they had gotten closer to safety, and he immediately coughed heavily, a slight tremble running through his pale legs as he caught his breath.  He had clearly been injured in the mad dash to safety; burns ran along his stomach and sides, not to mention he could feel his paws had been hurt in his escape from the mansion.  But he was stubborn; he absolutely refused to ask for help right out of the gate.  If offered of course he would accept, but he didn’t want to admit some sort of weakness, especially not now.

With a great heave Sephiroth’s legs would buckle under him as he settled on the stone near the young ones, his singed sides heaving as he rested on his slightly-less-burnt-then-the-other side, resting his head on the ground.  He kept his intensely colored eyes on Stockholm, taking Jiyu’s orders into account.  He wasn’t exactly ‘cuddly’, not by a long shot even, but not like he even had the energy in him to protest anything at this point. 

All things considered he wasn’t gravely injured, but he certainly wasn’t comfortable either.  But right now he was a Roseblood and one of the few in the area, and he needed to stay conscious and able for his group.  The lion would sigh heavily, keeping his eyes on everybody and his senses stretched out a reasonable amount.  He was especially keeping an ear open for Prestige.  He would go back to the mansion but he followed orders like a good beast and stayed with the others, where he was needed.

He had gotten burnt from the fire- because he had stopped to save him. It was his fault that the lion was hurt. A rather determined look would grow in Stockholm's eyes as he approached Sephiroth, focusing on his burn wounds. He ran over to the large male's side and he would drop the witch hazel before he began to chew up the marigold into a poultice.

Stockholm would then hesitate and he would attempt to make eye contact with the other male, pointing to the marigold poultice then to his injuries. "Can I?"

”…I would appreciate it, thank you.”  The lion would rasp tiredly, shifting his form to expose the scorched skin and fur better to the kitten’s eye.  Sephiroth found himself gritting his teeth to avoid making a sound of pain, not wanting to come off as worse off than he was.  If anything he should consider himself lucky that he got out of the mansion alive.

Which made sense, she supposed, even if it seemed like most of her fellow Rosebloods had kept it together. She needed to pull herself together though. The tabby breathed deeply and vaguely registered Jiyu's voice. Healing. That was smart... She'd been a healer in the past and could use what she knew to be resourceful in this time of turmoil.

"If anyone's injured, come to me," Lydia called to the small surviving group after a moment of wheezing away her anxiety "Tell me where you're injured, too. We don't have herbs but I'll do what I can."

He would press the poultice against the male's burn wounds as gently as he could possibly before he would take a step back and he frowned. All he had left was the witch hazel and he didn't think he had enough for anyone else. "Do you have any other spots where you're injured or is that it?" The pink-feline would question- concern growing on his facial features.

It hurt. Everything hurt.

Lucerys had been carrying his little sister on his back, settling her down onto the ground and soon collapsing on his own. His back legs were scorched from fire, the lion legs slowly losing fur as it literally fell to the ground in burnt clumps. He just wanted to rest, to stay in one place for now. "I've got some burnt back legs.. Looks like the fur is falling off.." Lucerys called out weakly, laying his head down onto the ground with crossed front legs.

He couldn't tell if his little sister was injured or not. His vision was blurry.

[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Sephiroth would wince and bite his tongue to surpass a hiss of pain as his wounds were tended too, forcing himself to keep his claws sheathed and prevent them from scraping on the stone.  His ears flicked about as Lucreys and his sister arriving with wounds of their own, and Sephiroth would look from them back to Stockholm as he inquired about his injuries.

”I’m alright.”  The lion would rumble, his gaze flickering briefly to the griffins and then back to the kitten.  ”Treat the others who need it.”  Sephiroth would say with a small heave as he rested his head back down, his eyes half closed in his tiredness.  He didn’t want special treatment and he wasn’t too hard off, others needed the herbs too.  It wouldn’t be smart to waste them all on him.

smoke and ash clogged his nostrils and aside from that being a pervading aura to him naturally - alongside the ever present warmer aura in contrast to his Targaryen friend's colder - also thoroughly coated his form as the flames bent away from their small corridor they'd made getting ut - though unable to corral or chase the whole fire as wildfires were always unpredictable and uncontrollable.

The indoraptor did a small headcount - several here he somewhat recognised and several missing seemed so far but Rizer would no doubt be able to tell clearer with his more, souls-borne vision - he snorted idly, ash dislodging from around his nose at the action.

claws picked up and trod across the dirt - the flames still bathing an awash the sky in colours of the once inferno behind him and casting them all into deep shadows and almost made the Harbinger and Targaryen appear briefly some demonic apparitions before they'd both trod closer.

Talyn's eyes strayed to the injured and he hummed turning to Rizer with a pointed brow before padding towards Lydia and staring down at the small feline "Rizer has elemental abilities in the water/ice department if you need them" aspect of death or not, the Targaryen would still help likley - wouldn't do to have their newfound people suffer hm.
