Since that rogue had attacked him and left him injured for sometime, Kirishima couldn't feel but feel helpless and useless to everybody else. He'd gotten himself hurt multiple times and the others had to help him- yet he hadn't been able to do anything in return. He had come across a small box, full of piercings and other jewelry. Ah, the perfect thing that would hide the hole in his tongue. He spent a couple of hours, forcing the piercing into his tongue slowly before he found a septum piercing.

He wasn't a big fan of nose piercings, so he had decided to wander around to see if anyone else happened to want it. Sanguine-eyes focused, he decided to stop by Bakugou's blacksmith hut and he would lift one of his fore-paws to knock on the front door.

Human fashion trends were strange, and progressively stranger as they evolved. Yet perhaps the strangest would be the notion that the animal kingdom would catch onto their worthless habits, too. The poltergeist wasn't so much bothered by the various accessories donned by his peers as much as he was confused; why would anyone want to stab a metal rod into skin for who knows how long? With the amount of earrings flaunted around by the buccaneers around him, Beck occasionally stared at the jewelry and wondered just how much the piercing bled.

He didn't realize there were other places people sought to adorn themselves with embedded rings and rhinestones. Even with all the television programs he watched into the early hours of dawn. Of course, he couldn't see any addition to the unknown feline's tongue, but the small ring in his grasp -- an iridescent speck to him from afar -- was enough to cause curiosity to rear its ugly head. Beck wasn't quite certain where Kirishima planned on going, but he stalked behind nevertheless, bandaged paws silent despite the crowded jungle floor. The other's pace slowed to arrive at an unfamiliar house, but as he went to knock, the little feline took his chance to question the bizarre thing. Materializing from thin air besides the russet tabby, he let out a hoarse wheeze before inching forward to view the ring without a myopic film obscuring its form. "What's that thing?" he croaked in an unpleasantly shrill voice, brows pinching together in bewilderment. A freezing paw made a move to snatch the piercing from Kirishima's grip, although he didn't care if he managed to swipe it for a brief moment for further observation.

He's been staring at his collection of bones for a while now, gaze burning in their glinting direction and unsure of what to do with them. He thinks briefly of his own bone accessories which he had bought from that sunhaven merchant, the one who made wonders out of the ivory material. The necklaces which lined beneath his throat, danging when the privateer moved swiftly from one work bench to another, working tirelessly to skin and clean his hunt. Earrings, coated in a deep red, loop effortlessly from his two ears. The initial piercing, he remembers, was a mild pain that was quickly forgotten in the same way it felt to restlessly work with stone and metal all night and day. And yet, despite the works appearing before him and Bakugou knowing what the finished product would look like, the ragdoll could not seem to figure out how to replicate such accessories. It frustrated him. He thought it must have been simpler considering his understanding of blacksmithing, picking it up by seeing unfinished works and a few inferences, but alas it was harder and much more delicate than he came to realise. Bakugou was not delicate, he was anything but delicate and gentle.

The ragdoll freezes when he hears the knocking on his door, unaccustomed to visitors. The last time someone came around, or at least the last time he remembers, it was Goldenluxury who came by to make curry with him. No one has really come around to knock on this particular door as this was still a new home for him, still a place he was growing used to. He only remembers handing out free weaponry. Knowing that he can't stand here for any longer than he already has, the privateer turns around to check who had knocked the door only to see two figures before him. Kirishima and a stranger he's never formally met. "The fuck?"

at the sounds of discussion filling the stagnent air, linux came slinking over to join the gathered crewmates to all ponder the weird piece of metal kirishima had in his possession. it appeared as if it were a gift, for ugh, baku. although the kitten disliked the ragdoll, linux had no prior experiences with kirishima and therefore - no opinion. "it's pretty, where did you find it?" mostly because it was shiny and inherently beautiful to the child, linux also voiced her queries for the boy.
